Hideaway - West Glacier Log Home – Private Hot Tub

Our modern log cabin, with 2 bedrooms plus loft and room to sleep 6, is a hidden gem that sits a few minutes from the west entrance to Glacier Park. Featuring a spacious kitchen, large dining table, cozy fireplace, pool table, large walkout deck with wonderful views, outdoor firepit, picnic table, yard and private hot tub. With quick access to rafting, hiking, biking, equipment rentals, activities and even helicopter tours, it's the perfect home base for any adventure!

Conveniently located close to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, our home is 5 minutes away from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, 20 minutes from Hungry Horse Dam/Reservoir, 20 minutes from Columbia Falls, 35 minutes from downtown Whitefish, 60 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, and surrounded by some great local hiking, biking, rafting and fishing. The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 20 miles away.

Hidden quietly in a small neighborhood, yet over half an acre of private, partially-wooded space with minimal neighbors. Just 2 miles from the West Glacier entrance, this cabin provides everything you would want for a memorable vacation!

The entire space is yours to enjoy. plus ample parking in the circular driveway.

This tranquil home features vaulted ceilings, wood floors, cement countertops, alder cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a wood stove on a half-acre lot. Enjoy your morning cup of joe peacefully before hitting Glacier Park a few minutes away.

On the main floor you will find the open kitchen, dining and living rooms as well as a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with a queen and 2 bathrooms. A washer and dryer is located in the main bathroom. In the inviting upstairs loft is a desk, pool table and TV area with a pullout couch and regular couch.

This house has all the essentials plus more for you stay. Great basecamp for your recreational activities or don’t even leave with everything offered here!

The outside space offers a little bit of everything. Enjoy the large walkout deck with views of the trees and mountains, private hot tub as well as the yard, picnic table, and BBQ. There’s plenty of space for your exercise routine or yoga practice. The outdoor space is complete with a fire pit and seating. Wood and propane are provided for your convenience. Perfect for an evening meal with family and friends, relaxing in the hot tub, making smores or stargazing with the beverage of your choice.

Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key.

The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well.

GPS, cell service and wireless internet can be unreliable due to the location. The current satellite service at the home has been unreliable. *Starlink service coming in January 2025.* Be sure to review the check in information sent 24 hours via channel messages for important information including detailed directions, codes, and household information, etc.
