The location is perfect and great parking. Nice view over Vancouver. Close to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain as well as fast access to Stanley Park. Most important for us was that the Horseshoe Bay Ferry terminal was only 10 min. away as we left early Morning. If we had stayed downtown Vancouver, we would have had traffic issues. The Lions Gate bridge was even closed for a few hours. We never had traffic issues.

The property canceled our booking without notifying us. When we called ahead the night before to check, they informed us they had lost their license. Small wonder.

I called to let them know what time I would be arriving as was requested and seemed to be annoying the person. Initially I was told that I did not have reservations with them but when I said I had the receipt in hand was told to just go see reception. No real reception. We were moved to different room than I booked and It was basically a room for a student. I found out later another couple had booked form a different site and for a different location that they were moved to this location. I believe they got the room I booked. We had to park a few blocks away at the owners friends house as the neighbouring properties would complain and call the police if too many cars parked at the place. This is a huge house with so many small little rooms. They didn't know who was booked and for when. Multiple booking sites are used and I think they double book. I would not go back.

Good Location & Poor Room

The location was great, close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. However, the room was very poor, it was small, located in the basement with very small window and no view, unclean, the sheets and bed were the worst part of this reservation. The sheets smelled really nasty and the bed makes noise with every move, and not comfortable. Plus there is no TV in the room. The room does NOT worth the prices listed for. I think the owner has to work on improving the room conditions.

Beautiful view. The host was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was beautiful!!

The accommodation is very modern and excellent location. Nice bathroom, tub and shower. Quiet neighbourhood. The bedding; was not what we expected given the cost of the rooms. Sheets, pulled and blankets looked like they were picked up from the thrift store . No top sheet We slept on top of comforter and used our own blankets. One small towel per person for our two day stay Also no bed side lamps or lighting . Shared kitchen was dirty . If property owners could change these important suggestions, it would be an excellent spot .

We stayed at West Vancouver Contemporary Living for one night. We used it as a place to get some rest after our flight to Vancouver and before our ferry over to the island the next morning. And it was perfect for just that. The bed was so comfy and there was a kitchen so we could make tea/coffee and breakfast in the morning. Also, the accommodation was about 30 minutes from the airport and only 10 minutes from the ferry terminal (Horseshoe Bay). Our flight was delayed so we arrived into Vancouver quite late but yet our host still waited up for us and stood on the drive for our arrival which was really nice of him.

We received a very friendly welcome and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Our room was sited on the lower level and had 2 disturbed nights sleep as a result of other guests operating the washing machine and dryer early morning and 10pm and using the kitchen noisily until after midnight.
