Free breakfast is served on weekends. A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. The business-friendly The Baxa Inn also features gift shops/newsstands, a picnic area, and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking is free.
Weâve never been at a place with so many people out in the parking lot, eating, riding bikes, smokingâŠâŠ didnât seem unsafe or dangerous, just a little unusual.
Nice and cozy rooms, homey feel. Very quiet the whole night. It felt pretty secure despite the door being a little hard to open/close. It would be nice if they had blackout curtains to help keep some light out at night / extra privacy. The bed, blankets and pillows were very soft and comfortable. The shower was super strong and had great temperature too. Cold breakfast offered but they also had oatmeal and a toaster for bagels and muffins. Staff was very friendly and felt authentic. Very central location very walkable neighborhood. I would stay here again!
They didnât have my room ready because part of the staff didnât show up. They said my room would be ready in half an hour and it was more like an hour. That was at 6 oâclock at night. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom was pretty dirty. The bathroom was old and decrepit. The flooring was dirty because I had cat hair sticking to the bottom of my shoes. The beds were clean and they were comfortable. I would not stay there again.
The Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Brenda and Kathy.
We liked the outdoor seating area.
The room had everything we needed. Our only observation was that some blackout curtains would be nice as the room stayed quite light even at night.
We loved this Motel though, convenient for restaurants, bars. Easy walk into the Main Street.
