Nestled on 20 wooded acres, this log cabin has all the privacy you need. Recently built from rough hewn logs, it is the perfect place to relax watching deer and other wildlife right from the front door. The lofted main bedroom overlooks the wooden beams of the living room while the second bedroom gives additional guests privacy. There is a doggie door out the back into a large fenced area with its own dog cabin. Large garage for parking ATVs and sleds to use on the trails accessible just behind the property. Electrical RV hookup available in the driveway. Explore the trails throughout the acreage as well as a small wetland area. Multiple lakes for boating and fishing within minutes.

Great cozy cabin in the woods! Perfect location for Ice Age Trail hikers. The cabin is super clean and well stocked. Myra is very easy to communicate with and responds in a very timely manner. Would definitely stay again!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Such a cozy cabin nestled in the woods. Enjoyed seeing some wildlife in their natural surroundings. The amenities were clean and up to date. Very private and quiet. It was a refreshing time away from our busy hectic lives. Would definitely consider staying here again, and would wholeheartedly recommend this jewel of a spot to others!

Very nice little cabin. Very secluded.However, the tapwater stinks terribly. Very hard to take a shower with that smell. Although there is plenty of bottled water for drinking and cooking.

This property is everything listed and more. We definitely would recommend to others with dogs. LARGE secure fenced in area with LARGE doggy door. We have a 100 pound plus German shepherd, and he was right at home inside the cabin. Loved the big yard and long driveway as we didn't have to worry about road traffic at all when outside playing ball.

Fabulous property. Very thoughtfully and adequately appointed. Great for families with a dog! Quiet location. WIFI worked great, which we needed since our cell provider has poor coverage in this area. We need to visit again and spend longer, as there is lots for our outdoorsy family to enjoy in this area, and we only barely touched the options available at this property alone.

This is the second time me and my dog have visited. He doesn't do well with the loud noises from Wings over Wausau and where we live is right in the middle of that. This is the perfect getaway. It is always so nice here: quiet and peaceful. My dog loves to play ball and has plenty of room to explore. This is a great place to relax and recharge and get away from noise. Love the wildlife! Turkeys, birds of all sizes, deer and other critters. Our host is wonderful and so easy to communicate with and really makes you feel at home coming to the Cabin. Looking forward to our next visit.

Remote, quiet and clean

This was my first visit to this cabin, and to the area, and I loved it! My Border Collie and I enjoyed hanging out seeing and listening to nothing but nature. The cabin is set well back off a very lightly travelled country road surrounded by trees. It had a nice fire pit area, and some hiking trails on the other side of the pond and around the huge yard. Nearby are endless hiking trails on the beautiful Ice Age Trail system and plenty of lakes. The cabin itself was lovely, comfy and very clean, stocked with anything you may need and is very dog friendly. I can't wait to come back!

An amazing stay

Great Cabin in the Woods

My partner, dogs and I really enjoyed our stay. We lounged around, read books, threw balls and watched Tv. The host is super communicative and the cabin is so cute. The host did a great job of stocking it with a few snacks, condiments, water and coffee. The cabin has a doggie dog that a few of my pups figured out and loved. The yard is a good size but not huge. There’s a cute dog cabin. I will say, the yard and driveway get muddddyyyy and they didn’t have mud towels. I am so happy we brought 4 of our own so take heed and do that too. We loved the rustic charm and the remoteness. Oh, and that fireplace!!!! Amazing. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the trails and bonfire.
