Booked this single room as was in the area for a friend's wedding. Paid around £80 for the night including breakfast.
Check in was friendly, easy to do and they let me check in early to drop my things off.
The room itself was incredibly basic as was the bathroom which had a shower, sink and toilet but the decoration was very old fashioned and reminded me of student accommodation that needed redoing.
Staff were great, very friendly and breakfast was nice too but the stay was not worth the £80 I paid - closer to £40-50 including breakfast.

Very wonderful property in the middle of no where. We loved the evening meal. The area is so charming. It’s like a fairytale town. The staff was warm and accommodating.

We had fantastic service from the friendly staff. They went above and beyond ensuring my coeliac son didn’t miss out, providing great gluten free options for dinner, breakfast and packed lunch. I can see why this is such a popular pub!

Lovely stay whilst at a wedding in Danby. Staff were all welcoming and extremely helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely and so was our evening meal. My only wish would have been for a mirror in the room rather than just the bathroom as it made getting ready for the wedding a bit tricky.

Tony and the team really wonderful hosts. Made us and our 2 dogs most welcome. Rooms very comfortable, plenty of tea/coffee and good hot shower.
Great breakfast set us up for the day. Lovely walk with the dogs 1st thing in the morning just behind the hotel down a short track over a footbridge then into a wood.
