Owner’s really nice and helpful. However floor was dirty, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and some people in the rooms around ours were noisy all night long.

This was a work trip, I was performing in Cape May Sunday night and got this place for 2 nights so I could spend an extra day in the area. When I made the reservation Hotels.com only allows you to pick 2, 3 or 4 people in your reservation, even if you're traveling by yourself. This had never been an issue until I stayed at this hotel when they guy asked me who else was staying with me. I told him Hotels didn't give me the option to pick 1 person. He goes 'well then why did you pick 2 queen beds?' Because again, that was the only option aside from the King bed suite and I don't need a king bed. Then he started explaining parking to me, it sounded like he wanted me to move my car to the other side of the lot. So I moved it to where he pointed and he stood outside watching me unpack the whole time which was a little awkward, he must have really thought someone was staying with me despite my car being packed with camping equipment and music gear. and a half hour later he shouts up to my room to move it because I was in a private spot. If my car was fine where it was, I don't know why he wanted me to move it. The room itself needed some minor repairs but was over all clean. There was no door frame so it was a bit drafty. Over all, I felt like the awkward house guest that was in trouble for everything. I'll probably pick another place in the future if I'm back in the area.

We checked in to the most nastiest and dirtiest room we have ever seen! The pictures are very deceitful! The room had ants, spider webs and sand in every corner. Mold in the bathroom floor. Hair all over the tub. Toilet rims were black. My daughter feet were black from just walking around the room for a minute. The remote had food or candy all over it. We requested to please be moved. We were moved to another room that was just as filthy. The best part was when we walked into the bathroom and seen Pubic hair in the tub and the owner said “ no it’s just a crack” proceeds to touch it to then have public hair on his fingers!! At that point he said ok we will cancel reservation with refund with Expedia. We check out, contact Expedia and owners lied and denied our refund. It’s a shame that this business would be so foul. They also own BelAir and that’s very run down. Avoid these places they are rude and scammers. Hope this review can save someone from such a disappointment or loss of hard worked money.

Room 3 should not be rented

I chose this place based on other positive reviews, however there are a few reviews that are bad and it seems they got the same room as us. We requested a king room. We got a room that was obviously converted from a storage room on the ground floor behind the ice maker-very loud with people coming at all hours to get ice. It was barely large enough for the king bed. The bathroom was extremely small and no bathtub, as described in the room category. Only a tiny shower stall. The toilet was loose and crooked. No hairdryer. No place at all for luggage. Two tiny windows with broken blinds- the view was an alley behind a bar, so anyone could see in. The smoke detector was missing when we arrived, so we called and they did replace that promptly. The front door looked as though someone forcibly tried to break in at some point. When we arrived the smell of bleach was so strong that we had to leave for a few hours. It was clean, though. The mattress was comfortable, though the fitted sheet was not large enough and was difficult to tuck in on one side because the bed was crammed against the storage unit housing the refrigerator, so I was constantly pulling the sheet as not to lay directly on the plastic mattress protector which grossed me out. I would have also appreciated a coffee maker. The owners were nice though, calling us promptly at the check in time when the room was ready, not a minute before. We were only there for one night, had it been longer, we would have absolutely left.

This was a three night stay. The price was good and this place had a rating of very good so i considered that a Jackpot, stupid me. Its super close to the boardwalk which is not something i usually look for. All the locals frequent the places nearby, even the junkies. Limited parking at the hotel but there is a lot across the street where you cant see your car so don't leave anything in it. You have do do a luggage drive-by. The other guests were SO loud, woke us up at 6am having a full on debate in front of our door. The walls are paper thin and the door to the room looked and felt like one good shove and all your stuff would be GONE! No housekeeping. Oh well. Room was small-all beds and table. Whoever put the shower curtain up was clueless. The entire floor gets soaked aver time you use the shower and you cant adjust it. Good thing you can go get your own towels because you need them for the floor. No need to exfoliate because the shower pressure will take your skin off. The thing that sticks in my mind most is that when we arrived i took my shoes off and my feet were covered in sand and dirt in about 4 steps. I kept them on for the rest of the time. Ill keep myself in the crest from now on.
