The room had no working shower (the knob for the shower faucet was missing), you could not lock the hotel room door because the entire lock mechanism was missing. When I complained they said they removed all the locks on the doors because older people were getting locked in the room and didn't know how to get out and said do not worry about it (?)!!! The bathroom had a lot of mold and the entire room was filthy. Was told check-in time was 2:00pm then found the office locked with no staff member and a sign saying check-in is between 3-4pm. When I went back I had to look for the staff member. Parking was an issue also. I was told they would refund my money but I have yet to see a refund. The picture attached to this review is NOT how the hotel looks!

Room had to be changed because they allowed the previous patron to stay longer. Room had 1 light in it, severely outdated.

Parking is weird. They make you leave your car key so they can move your car because the only way to park is to block other people in. Staff was very nice at check in. Cleaning people were having a loud conversation outside our door at like 6am. You can hear everything. It was ok for the price but probably would upgrade to another place next time. Close to Boardwalk definitely a plus. Shower in room was likely clogged cuz water backed up but didn’t really cause an issue.

The entire room was outdated. Our bathroom shower stall floor had been PAINTED over the concrete floor in one thick layer. A weird and unsafe idea. The moisture trapped underneath caused the paint to buckle and rip, causing my daughter's foot to slide forward on the wet paint flap and she almost hit her head on the floor tiles. There was mold everywhere from lampshades to grout and the fridge door. One of the lamps had a broken plug to the lamp. So no light there. You can hear everything through the walls with noisy neighbors shouting obscenities. I only stayed here because i made plans with the kids last minute. Will not be back.

The pictures for staying here look NOTHING like it is. OLD, runned down, door frame to bathroom rotted & gross. Had to kick in door to room cause of humidity. Floors gross. They should pay us to stay. One & done never again. Only plus was convieant to boardwalk... DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was trapped in my room with no answering phones because of a broken deadbolt. This is some Bates Motel level horror stay experience in the "I feel like something horrible is going to happen to me" kind of way.

The manager Sanjay is incredibly nice. Unfortunately the other woman who works there is very rude. Didn’t get her name but she has a nasty attitude. Simply asked a question and she is rude for no reason. Before leaving home messaged them my ETA 8pm and they messaged back while driving that the front desk might be closed when I arrive and they have a “piggyback parking” policy. Expedia detailed none of this, says 24/7 front desk (which is one of the reasons we booked there because of our predicted arrival time) and nothing about the piggyback parking. Sanjay was actually there when I checked in so I started to feel better about things. However, that was the only time the front desk was open. I went there again the next day and it was locked. Same thing when checking out two days later. There’s a number to call posted on the door if the door is locked, but of course there was no answer when I called. The place is very old and the bathroom smells very strongly like urine. Maid service is only on request (also not detailed on Expedia), which I didn’t know until the woman rudely explained it to me. Explaining that she “works too hard” to clean rooms every day. They’ll charge $50 if you get any sand in a room that’s already a dump. Piggyback parking concerned me but was actually no big deal. Many other places in town also have piggyback parking. It’s very old, but the only advantage is it’s a good location. Two blocks from the boardwalk and beach. I will not stay here again.

Do not stay here!!!

This hotel was disgusting. Please do not stay here. I found hair in the shower and garbage in the room. It was in terrible condition. The dresser was taped shut, the curtains were barely functional, there were flies in the bathroom and the lamps in the bedroom did not work. I did not feel comfortable staying here and left. I did not stay either of the nights and they would still not refund my money. The manager reiterated to me that the stay was not refundable. I feel like he knows how bad the conditions are and says that it is not refundable so that you are trapped into paying for something that is unacceptable. I should have listened to the bad reviews.
