We have just got home from a 2 night stay, had a fantastic time, the location is perfect with plenty of things to do. Our room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice both mornings, staff very friendly and we would definitely stay here again, thank you

Our room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The location is perfect, right in town for easy access to restaurants and bars, with plenty of lovely walks nearby or just a short drive away. The only downside was breakfast on the Saturday: my husband’s full English was quite overcooked, and my porridge was more like raw oats in warm milk, not creamy at all. Thankfully, the following morning’s breakfast of crumpets and scrambled eggs was much better, so perhaps just an off day for the chef. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we’d definitely return. x

This guest house was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel at home. Convenient for walking around the shops and accessing restaurants. Easy and convenient parking. Great stay. Would recommend it!

We're got the first parking space by arriving early at about 11:30am. Good location, 30 mins walk to Bowness, Millerground Lakeshore and Orrest Head. We liked the food at Graze cafe, Rastelli's Pizzeria and Homeground Coffee + Kitchen. We liked the decorations of house and good selection of breakfast with friendly staff service. The WiFi was fast but busy at night time. One minor thing the no window bathroom's extractor fan wasn't working.

The staff at Holly Lodge are friendly and welcoming. They made you feel like you were at home. The property is very clean and the beds are great. Perfect for a relaxing nights sleep. Lively retreat in Windermere

Very comfortable and well-appointed with everything you need. The space is beautiful and located a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was lovely and the proprietor was as well. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Superb place to stay

I had such a warm welcome from Bonnie and her family. My room was lovely, everything i needed. The bed was lovely and comfortable too. Lots of breakfast choice and the cooked breakfast was delicous. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble. The location of the guest house is a few mins walk from the centre so perfectly situated. Aa a solo traveller i would definatly recommend Holly House to stay and I would go back and stay for sure. Totally recommend to friends and family

Brilliant stay from start to finish. The staff were lovely and did everything they could. The rooms were spacious clean and modern and the breakfast was delicious with a choice of about 5 different options. Absolutely would stay here again!
