Budget hotel you get what you pay for. It was around half the price of other Bowness hotels.
Very dated. Shower no water pressure. Shower door wouldn't close.
Sheets and towels were fairly new. But everything else needs updating.
Some areas not very clean. Wouldn't stay again.
Had a disappointing stay here and wouldnât recommend it. The toilet was broken (wouldnât flush). We did report this but it wasnât fixed. We had a terrible nights sleep as the doors to each room slam shut very loudly so we heard guests coming back at 1am and then guests leaving at 6.30. The noise from the road is loud. All in all not a comfortable or relaxing stay.
Staff on reception really nice and helpful. A lovely room. Bed very comfortable, had a good nights sleep. Loved that we had a range of hot drinks with options that included oats milk for lactose intolerant and bottled water. There was a lovely hot shower. The only downside was the noisy toilet in the bathroom but apart from that, we had a nice stay. Would stay again.
Room is trying to have contemporary decor...but poorly maintained and cleaned...thick dust on kettle and lamps, no TV signal at one point ..smart TV but no Internet connection..could only connect 1 device to wifi... no breakfast facilities...calls itself an 'inn'...little/no contact with staff..only slept there...no resident space..definitely would not return or recommend it sadly...
The rooms were clean and comfortable, dining options in the area were superb and although parking is a little difficult there is a small car park just down the road to park in with extended stay tickets.
