Plenty of space, Rooms were furnished with all the niceties necessary to provide you with the best and most comfortable stay. We drove 12 hours each way and needed exactly what was provided, furnishings, atmosphere, a warm cozy room for enjoying your stay and recovering from a long drive. The ocean was beautiful with a long walking trail along the rocky coast. Restaurant and shopping in the town of Yachats, Oregon was fun. The Hotel Staff all had great friendly attitudes. They made our special stay something that will be a forever memory. Found no negatives.

Romantic ocean getaway

Wonderful romantic location on the Oregon Coast. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Loved having a fireplace while watching crashing waves. Would have liked wine glasses and minimal utensils included.

Fireside is my favorite place to stay in Yachats. Always a welcoming front desk and the views are exceptional and unbeatable. Added bonus that they are pet friendly so we can stay with our furry friend. Highly recommend!

Salty arrival but great spot!

We had a nice time at the Fireside and the location is perfect. The room is updated and includes a coffee maker, pet covers for the bed, outdoor chairs etc. The view from the room is spectacular and my pup loved it. We had a great time chatting with other guests as well. The only unpleasant moment was the woman who checked us in, who gave us more of a lecture than a welcome. I imagine working at a hotel desk can be very challenging, but I avoided the lobby/gift shop area until the next day. The person who checked us out was warm and kind. Not a big deal but given the price I was expecting a bit more hospitality upon arrival. Otherwise we enjoyed it!

I was so happy I stayed at the Fireside and I will definitely do so again. My room was no-frills, but super clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had a lovely walk to town for dinner along the shoreline. What a beautiful location! Highly recommended.

Worth it

TV system confusing and spotty function. King bed a little bit saggy to the middle. Shower head is super-low water consumption. Fireplace was nice. Location great. It was worth it.

This property at the fireside is beautiful and easy to find, and the ocean view is spectacular. The staff provided excellent service, and the gift shop was lovely, with charming gifts and collectibles and invaluable information about tourist attractions. I gave it four stars instead of five because the DVD player overwhelmed the system and would go off every 15 minutes, and there was beeping throughout the night from the refrigerator. My husband and I will be coming back soon. Just maybe asking for a different room.
