Located in the quiet and elegant neighbourhood of Bootham, where grand Georgian houses give way to Victorian properties and trees and cobbled margins decorate the length of the street.

Our newly renovated 5 bedroom house is only an 8 minute walk to York city centre. Expect modern interiors and quality furnishings. Set over three floors, there is plenty of room to relax after a busy day out in the city. There is also free parking for up to 3 cars which is a bonus for such a central location!

We support responsible travel within the current restrictions and therefore my property is available for booking where the purpose of your stay falls within the current guidelines set out by the local Government.

Ground Floor:
Hallway entrance with contemporary coat hangers on the wall, leading to the stylish open plan dining living quarters. The living area is lovely and bright with the feature of a bay window. Hardwood plantation shutters are installed throughout, which allow you to manage daylight to your liking and privacy.

There is plenty of space to relax on the two large sofa sets. Watch a film or your favourite boxset on the wall mounted Smart TV. You are guaranteed to fight over the L-shaped sofa!

In the dining area, the impressively long wooden table seats up to 10 for breakfast and home cooked meals.

The kitchen is suitably equipped for a comfortable stay. Appliances include use of two fridge freezers, a washer dryer, dishwasher, 4 ovens, a large electric hob, microwave, toaster and kettle.

There are three bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second (top) floor. Each double bedroom has a double wardrobe and long length mirror, as well has its own private en-suite shower room for extra comfort! Every en-suite bathroom includes a shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet.

First Floor:
The Pink Watercolour bedroom includes a double bed and single en-suite shower.
The Blue Oriental bedroom includes a king size bed and double en-suite shower.
The Myanmar bedroom includes a king size bed and double en-suite shower.

Second Floor:
The Pink Oriental bedroom has a king size bed and single en-suite shower.
The Egyptian bedroom has a king size bed and double en-suite shower.

Outside:
There is a decked yard with some French bistro style furniture.
The rear gate leads to the parking space which is accessed down the alleyway. The parking space is only suitable for a small car due to the width of the alleyway access. There are two parking spaces to the front, just off the street and opposite the house. Please see 'Other things to note' and refer to your guest manual for more information on parking.

Other things to note
PARKING
There is parking for up to 3 cars. There are two car parking spaces to the front, opposite the house. They are a little tight but the bonus is they are off the road! Suitable for medium cars but not an estate size car.

There is an additional parking space to the rear of the property for a small car. The parking space is on a gravelled area which is recessed off the alleyway. To access the rear parking you must turn down the alleyway so please be careful, especially if arriving in the evening!

Family reunion in York

Lovely well appointed flat in the heart of York. Clean, spacious, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. We had a wonderful time visiting with our English relatives at this property.

Lovely property

Overall the property was lovely- clean and modern. The bedrooms were a good size and all had an en suite. There is no downstairs toilet which would have been a bonus but was not much of an issue. The house was lovely and warm, very cosy, and the Christmas tree was an added bonus to keep us feeling festive. The communal area was excellent so we could all eat and relax together. The kitchen was well stocked, but no microwave per se. I think it was a combi oven but there were no instructions. The parking was not great with the initial instructions quite confusing leading us to get a ticket so be careful. There is really not much space at all to easily park 2 medium sized cars and a very small space also round the back. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it.

Ideal for getting into York attractions

Spacious and fully equipped and within easy walking distance to centre of York. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom was large enough with the added bonus of each having it’s own en suite. We had an enjoyable stay.
