Warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to correct any and all concerns Very cute rooms, warm and cozy, nicely decorated. Clean, modern bathrooms. Great neighborhood, easy walk to the city center, easy for Uber rides, and some phenomenal restaurants only steps away: Chinese noodle soups, coffee/bakeries, and the Rose and Crown tavern, which has the best meat pies, Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding ive had yet in England. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean. The only issue we had was we found the bed quite uncomfortable, the pillows were hard and the sheets were not very soft. This is obviously in reference to our preference though. Breakfast was very nice, we had some of the continental and also the specials for the day. We managed to get the last parking space in the hotel car par and this was at 1pm. Parking can be very tricky in the centre of York so bear that in mind. We found the hotel well located to the city and walked in and out with no problem.

A Christmas Eve stay was fantastic! Staff lovely, friendly and helpful and we woke up to Christmas stockings on our doors with hot chocolate marshmallows etc inside which was a fantastic festive touch.

The Staff were wonderfully friendly, helpful and courteous. Everything else was as it should be at such a quality rated hotel - 'spot on'. Many congratulations and 100% would recommend it. We are certainly going to stay there again when we next visit York.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Indigo York. The hotel is beautiful. Lovely, clean, spacious room, fully equipped. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Beautiful breakfast. Would definatley recommend and stay here again.
