A lovely modern room with a high standard of cleanliness. It is within easy reach of the city centre and is a nice walk along the river. Would highly recommend. The Yorkies in the fridge were a nice touch too.

Lovely Stay

My partner and I had a lovely stay in the Junior Suite. Conveniently located a short walk away from York centre, we were able to park very easily and leave the car whilst we walked everywhere. Very quiet and clean, it was a great base for us to enjoy a couple of brilliant days in York doing all our touristy things. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely wee place tucked away in York. 10 minute walk into York along the river Ouse..place was spotless clean… all instructions were written in a book for you to follow, which was so helpful. Easy access through keysafes so it’s very secure. Coffee maker/ kettle and chocolate/water left in the fridge was a lovely touch. We would definitely book up again . Thanks for a lovely stay

Fabulous February getaway

The listing is accurate! Fabulous location, just 15mins walk to the centre of the city (flat path); comfortable and quiet room; spotlessly clean and well thought out; the little extras (hand cream, coffee maker, chocolate treats, guide books and how-to-use info, to name just a few) were great. Safe parking - we never needed to move the car for 5 nights - saved a fortune in parking charges. Communication from the hosts, Karolina & Phil was brilliant (never met in person, but always quick to reply), giving us tips on how to walk into the city if the river path was flooded, their favourite eateries, and advice on museums. We simply cannot give anything less than a 5-star review, because we had such a lovely time.

Wonderful stay

The Riverside Hideout is located 20 minutes walk from the centre of York. It’s a lovely walk along the river Ouse. There is ample parking in the surrounding area, we opted for the top of jubilee crescent right outside the entrance to the property. The property is beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. The location is quiet and the property offers a small private garden. The owners are very communicative and helpful.
