Tawny Lodge is situated close to the Acomb area which has an abundance of shops, cafes, supermarkets and places to eat, perfect if you want to snuggle down in your own private retreat. There is a well equipped kitchen where you can prepare your holiday treats and a dining table that comfortably sits both of you. With views out over the terrace to the wooded area beyond you can sit back, relax and enjoy. If you want a quiet night in you can snuggle down on the sofa and treat yourselves to a movie night. When the weather allows there is a great terrace area straight of the open plan living room, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening meal.

There is also a comfortable bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with both a bath and a shower over, you also have a small walk in wardrobe off the bedroom - all done to ensure our comfort.

If you want to head into the City of York for a night out or a day exploring, you are a five minute drive into the centre of York. There is also a very regular bus service, so although the property has parking for 1 car - with the added advantage of a dedicated EV charger - you can leave it when you arrive and wont need it again until you leave.

This property provides a perfect retreat yet is only a few minutes drive to one of the most historic City's in the UK, full of things to do and see - with gourmet treats for everyone!
