An excellent property. Stunning architecture & grounds. Truly family run. Very hospitable, welcoming & accommodating. We stayed for close proximity to Mr Etna & wineries. The food is farm to table - mostly made by ‘mama’. Gorgeous pool. Our only complaint is we should have booked longer. Many thanks to Sara & family.

This hotel is perfect as a base to explore the eastern side of the island, conveniently located between Mount Etna and the sea. The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was delayed and we had problems picking up the hire car, but they waited up to check us in at 1am! The breakfast buffet was ample with lots of fresh fruit and freshly baked pastries/cakes and omelettes from their own hens. You can order dinner at the hotel at an extra cost, but all lovingly prepared and we had the best tiramisu on the holiday! Would definitely recommend!

Antico Borgo Petralia is a truly magical place to relax and unwind. It’s set in lush gardens filled with butterflies and has stunning views of Mount Etna. The beauty of the surroundings is only rivalled by the incredible host family and the whole team. From the moment you arrive, they welcome you as if you are part of their family. Their kindness and genuine care are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. They seem to anticipate your every need and effortlessly solve any little issue, before you even realise they exist, making your stay completely stress-free. Our room was spotless, comfortable and had a stunning view towards Etna. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits from the garden and homemade treats. Optional home-cooked dinners were authentic and among the best meals we enjoyed in Sicily. Having a car is recommended, and with one the location is ideal—around 45 minutes from Catania Airport and perfectly placed for exploring Mount Etna, the surrounding countryside, Taormina and the east coast of Sicily. The atmosphere throughout the property is wonderfully peaceful. We genuinely found it hard to leave, would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Ein außergewöhnlich schöner Aufenthalt in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine gepflegte Anlage, die angenehme Atmosphäre und den hervorragenden Service. Sara, ihre Eltern sowie das gesamte Team waren jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Die Kombination aus Gastfreundschaft, Komfort und der besonderen Lage macht diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Wunderschön restauriertes Agriturismo mit viel Liebe und Charme geführt. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause und herzlich Willkommen - ein besonderes Danke an Irene und Sara und ihre Eltern! Frühstück und Abendessen werden mit Liebe zubereitet, was man schmeckt und in schönstem Ambiente serviert. Blick auf Ätna und Meer - einfach traumhaft! Ein Auto ist allerdings erforderlich.

Hotel exceptionnel

Entre l'hôtel et la maison d'hôtes, maisons rénovées avec goût, tout confort, piscine. Vue sur la mer et sur l'Etna. A 5 min en voiture d'une charmante petite ville animée. Surtout excellent accueil de Sara, aux petits soins pour satisfaire ses hôtes, supers gâteaux de sa maman. A recommander !!!

Almost perfect!

This family owned establishment has exceptional service. The owners go out of their way to please you. Breakfast is abundant with the typical fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold cuts and homemade cakes and tarts --eggs upon request. Rooms are very clean if somewhat stuffy because a/c is turned off during the day to economize energy. The place is relatively newly renovated so everything sparkles. It is well located for all the local sights. Ample free parking, good wifi. Gorgeous pool overlooking olive groves with the sea in the distance. What's not to love? The beds are hard and older bones will feel it in the morning.

Amazing

Enjoyed our stay tremendously, we were greeted like Royalty! Upon checking in we had welcome cocktails and pastry on the terrace over looking an amazing view and an inviting swimming pool. The Inn is family own, built by the owner and managed by his wife and 2 daughters. The property is stunning, it's immaculate with incredible views. We had the privilege of staying for dinner, everything was amazing! The food is prepared by the lady of the house, everything was delicious and presentation were amazing! It was truly fantastic to enjoy an authentic Sicilian Family Meal! Our room was well appointed with a large comfortable bed, great balcony overlooking the breathtaking views. The location was ideal, 30 minutes or less from Mount Etna or if your coming from Taormina it was about the same distances. The inn offered a great breakfast, had free parking, great wifi and fantastic hospitality! My biggest regret we should have stayed an extra day to enjoy the facilities, such as the inviting swimming pool!

Geheimtipp am Aetna

Wunderschön renovierte Villa, ein Idyll! Links sieht man den Küstenstreifen mit Meer, rechts den Aetna. Tolles Frühstück und sehr leckeres Abendessen. Umsorgt wird man (auch mit Tipps zu Ausflügen) von der Tochter des Hauses. Sie liesr einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Selten so toll erholt, 100% Weiterempfehlung.

excellent place to stay!

My wife and I came for 4 nights. We enjoyed every moment of our stay there. The plcae is beatiful. The staff is doing everything to assist and to make the stay pleasant especially Sara was who is the best host we ever met in any hotel. The food was great- both breakfasts and dinners. we will defintely come again abd we recommend to everybody to come there. .
