PROS: The hotel grounds are lovely and very well kept. Really enjoyed the pool and beach areas, plenty of seating, pool temp was great, and the food at the pool restaurant/bar was surprisingly delicious. The hotel caters to an older crowd, most of the guests were of retirement age or older and this made for a very peaceful and quiet setting. Even as a younger guest, I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. CONS: Despite being a platinum member, I did not get a room upgrade and was told this was something I had to request directly with expedia, which is nonsense. I had a room on the ground floor with a terrible view. I also did not like the beds and linens, they were old and uncomfortable. The pillows were particularly bad, as they are small, square, and flat and feel more like seat cushions than actual pillows. The location is also terrible if you plan on hanging out downtown as it takes a while to get an Uber all the way down to the end of the marina and transportation adds up $ after several days. Verdict: Nice place to stay if you plan on staying in the hotel or hanging out at marina your entire trip. Not a good choice if you are looking for comfortable bedding and good location. I enjoyed my stay, but would not stay again.

I really liked how relaxed and quiet the resort was. Kinda wish that it would be all inclusive. The restaurants food was not Mexican at all and way over priced. You have to go out of the resort area to enjoy a good reasonable meal.

The staff was amazing. Everyone we talked with was friendly and helpful. Also, they all communicated well in English. The outside areas (pool, beach and restaurant) were well maintained and enjoyable to be at. Overall, our room was adequate but nothing special. Some of the fixtures appeared to be dated.
