Ion Hotel
"We were greeted nicely when we arrived. However, the room we had on our first night was very disappointing. The shower drain didn’t drain properly, so it flooded in the washroom. It took the staff 10 minutes just to get all the water down the drain (if this is an issue to you, avoid Room 307). This ..."

Ion Hotel
"We were greeted nicely when we arrived. However, the room we had on our first night was very disappointing. The shower drain didn’t drain properly, so it flooded in the washroom. It took the staff 10 minutes just to get all the water down the drain (if this is an issue to you, avoid Room 307). This next issue made me furious. As I was about to get in bed after taking a shower, I lifted the duvet and found a thumbtack facing up. I immediately took pictures of it (attached to this review). I notified front desk about this hazard, but they didn’t seem to be that concerned. They just said they were gonna let room service know about it and didn’t perform any deep inspection. I asked for a room change that night because of these issues, but they just disregarded the request. It was really frustrating. I came to the front desk in the morning, and thank you to the morning shift staff, they accepted the request for a room change (moved to Room 306). No alarming issues during our second day. Overall, Baguio was fun. We were just hoping that our first night at Ion Hotel went safely and smoothly, especially after a long day of travel from Manila."
