"The family suite I booked for my son's first Cavendish experience was great. Ive stayed at the Silverwood many times growing up, and the vibes are still the same. With the new owners updating things as quickly as possible, I can't wait to see it again when Reno's are complete. The only things I wish our room had was a full sized stove instead of a hot/plate toaster oven, as it made a few things difficult (but not impossible) to cook, but we also had our own BBQ and back deck area which was nice. The sofa/sofa bed (only used as a sofa) was also pretty uncomfortable. The rooms aren't completely sound proof, so we were kept awake and woken up a few times due to noise from inside the rooms on either side of us, but it was a great spot with a nice warm pool, a big fire pit, is in an extremely great location as we didn't always have our own transportation and traveled on foot, each unit has its own heat pump and awesome water pressure (the shower was fantastic), and the beds were pretty comfortable as well. The new owners are kind and wonderful people, very accommodating and gave us an unexpected but very appreciated last minute late check out. Would recommend visiting, and we will definitely stay again!"
