"This was an exceptional place! The location is incredible, only 30 minutes to the valley, the amenities were high quality and the hot tub was a dream to dip into every night. "I just returned from a fantastic snowboarding trip and stayed at this cabin. It is a genuine, cozy log cabin with plenty of space for a group.Location: You cannot beat the location for winter sports! It is only about 7 miles from Badger Pass Ski Resort and about 15 miles to the Yosemite Valley floor, making it a perfect basecamp.Tips for Guests: If you plan on cooking, come prepared! The nearest real grocery store is about 25 miles away, and the stores down in the Valley have very limited inventory. Also, the kitchen has very limited pots and pans, so bring your own cooking pans if you plan on making big meals.Finally, there is no washer and dryer, so be sure to bring enough clothes for your stay.Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I will definitely be back next winter!"
