"I like hotels that have some history to them and this one was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. We were there for a graduation at a university close by, so we decided to dine at the restaurant. The staff that waited on us was amazing and the food that we had was good. All the staff were great and anything we needed they were right on it. For me and my family we enjoyed our stay. We did not eat breakfast, but we were told it was a bit pricey for what you got. Our room had a refrigerator but did not have a microwave. We stayed two nights and the rooms were clean so if you need a place in that area, it was enjoyable."

"The rooms were clean, and the property itself was in a perfect location. Overall, we had a good stay. The cleaning staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was not as pleasant, the woman checking us in seemed bothered by our arrival, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. The hallways could have used a bit more attention, especially with vacuuming. The breakfast was also disappointing. We ended up going elsewhere to eat, and even the “fresh” fruit didn’t look very appetizing. That said, despite a few drawbacks, I would still stay here again because of the great location and overall experience."

"The staff were very polite and helpful. The property is in dire need of renovation. The bathroom tile is cracked, the tub doesn’t drain well, the shower temperature control is loose and very finicky, towels were small and cheap. The bed was ok, but pillows were old and lumpy, the sheet was so thin it was almost see-through, and I didn’t feel comfortable that the duvet was clean. The tv is fairly small given the size of the room and all of the bulbs were very dim. The AC and refrigerator were very loud. We stayed to attend graduation at Liberty University, so payed over $350 per night for a mediocre room."
