Athens Studios is in a great location a few minutes walk from the less busy south entrance to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the Plaka neighborhood. We did the family suite that included a separate bedroom, full kitchen, and two balconies, only one of which had furnishings. It was nice to have the extra space of the suite as well as a full refrigerator and microwave. One balcony has an obstructed view of the Acropolis, but the rooftop, which is accessible only to deluxe suite guests, has a great view. The daily breakfast was pretty good with choices of yogurt, pre-made egg dishes, salads, fruit, and baked goods, but the choices did not change from day to day. So why only three stars? A few things bring my rating down. 1) the finishes in the room were very basic and the unit felt worn. 2) the bathroom is a wet room in which there is not a shower enclosure, so the entire floor gets wet. 3) the room had a standard European requiremnt to insert your key card for lights, but the air conditioners were also tied to that which caused the room to always be hot when returning; we tried leaving the card in the slot when leaving the suite, but the maid would remove it. 4) the towels felt worn and, one day were still damp as if the maid had simply rerolled our wet towels. 5) the laundromat was overpriced at 12€ to wash and dry a small load.

Urgh, beware tonot working lift, no help with bags to your room. No phone in room. Excessively LOUD outside windows and doors. Hard to sleep. Breakfast was great. Service was questionable. Shower didnt drain.

Athens Studios Hotel was an excellent place to be in the middle of everything! Walking distance to the Acropolis, its Museum, Plaka cobblestone streets with their charming outdoor cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean, minimalistic but had absolutely everything I needed for my stay, comfortable beds and well lit room, with natural light. The front desk concierges were very accommodating to my needs and always welcomed me with a warm smile! Overall a very nice place for a very nice price! Don’t hesitate as this place is a little hidden gem!

I was not aware that the treatment I was supposed to receive was VIP because the hotel staffs had been treating everyone equally , welcomed everyone like family . I felt it was my home away from home . The best part the AC was working perfectly. Room good size and very clean and so with the toilet sanitized. They have 24 hours receptionist that could address your concerns if needed. The location is so perfect walkable to the shopping area, best cuisines, attractions , metro and so safe to walk around. It is highly recommendable especially if you travel on a budget and looking for a place to stay to have the best time if you need to rest and to have a good breakfast and need to eat even at late night that need not to dress up because it has restaurants at the site and across the street as well

My family had a very nice and comfortable stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is very close to almost every places you wanted to see in Athens. Very good location and accessible to public transportation like taxis and buses. The property location is great, can walk to all main touristy destinations, a lot of restaurants all around to have nice food. The rooms are very basic, but clean, would appreciate more closet space. Hotel has breakfast in the morning which was pretty good, all basics, would have to get coffee somewhere else... The best was the laundry room, that's was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Overall, good stay, friendly front desk, great location.
