Incomparable Plaka's Lux 2bdrm Apt w/Pvt Heated Pool

At the historic location of Plaka we built with much love and respect a luxury complex of suites and apartments. This is Meno residence and we will be with you for a unique experience in Athens, Greece.





Welcome to my new luxury apartment in the center of Athens. Here in the historic neighborhood of Plaka you can have the luxury of enjoying a cool swim (with mineral water, ideal for the skin) in our private pool while living in the city center. Just do not miss it! The pool is disinfected and cleaned automatically. This type of cleaning creates mineral water which has beneficial properties for hair and body. Finally for the winter time we re-designed the pool so that it is indoor and of course heated upon request.



It is truly one of a kind apartment, made with a lot of love as we respected the architectural traditions of this historic building by holding stone walls and at the same time building with delicate additions creating the ideal match of tradition and modernity.



My residence is in the historical center of Athens. This means that all attractions are within walking distance. Parking is hard to find in the center of Athens, but there is a private one next to our property with an extra cost. The supermarket is 150 meters away and there is a pharmacy right next to it. Countless restaurants and bars, your choices are truly endless, shops and the local market, everything is right at your feet. The Acropolis in 7 minutes, Monastiraki in 3 minutes, Syntagma in 4 minutes, Metro in 3 minutes.



The building dates since 1932 and it is a fantastic and also typical Neoclassical interwar structure. We made a strong team surrounded by architects, interior designers, archaeologists and mechanics and we are glad we final get exact the result we had in mind. The renovation was finalize on the summer of 2022 and since July we will be ready to host you on our little gem, in the heart of Athens!



Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality brand. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you.



The whole apartment is fully air conditioned and full heated while there is 24/7 hot water.



Entire property has free Wi-Fi!



Monastiraki is the closest Metro station and the bus station is 100 meters away.



Smoking is not allowed



Common quiet hours 11:00 p.m. – 07:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.



Early check-in, late check-out, and late check-in after 00:00 are available upon request, subject to availability, and come with a small additional fee.

The home is so incredibly placed for an awesome Athens holiday. The house was clean and so comfortable for our stay. The pool is such a bonus after a day of sightseeing. The host was always quick to respond and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!

The location of this Apartment in Athens can't be beat. It's in walking distance to everything with excellent restaurant and shopping choices just outside the door. It's also very spacious and worked well for our family of four (two teen kids). The pool was very refreshing after a day of sightseeing too. It's also surprisingly very quiet even though it's smack dab in the city center. If we get back to Athens we will definitely stay here again!

The apartment was beautiful and the location was fantastic! It is air conditioned and very clean. It was located in a safe, quiet area in Plaka. It was 15 min walk from the acropolis. Communication with the host was great!!! He was very responsive and set up transfers to/from the airport for us. The only slight con of this particular apartment
if you have young kids, 1 bathroom is located down a flight of stairs and there isn’t a railing around this stairwell, so a young kid could potentially fall. We lined up suitcases around the stairwell and it was fine, but a railing there would be nice. It is not be a problem for adults or older kids. Overall it was beautiful and I would stay here again! Plus this host has other apartments available to rent in this same building so if you have a multiple families traveling together, you can stay in the same building. This is what we did. We also rented the apartment above this one
it was also spacious, modern and clean! 5-stars! Can’t wait to visit again!

Very close to Plaka, Monastiraki and Ancient Sights

Our hosts were super responsive and the location was walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Athens. Check-in was very easy and the kitchen was spacious and well appointed for our short stay. The pool was nice for a dip after walking around in 90 degree weather. While the listing is accurate, the reasons we did not rate 5 stars: The building has a few units and the acoustics made it loud when other tenants came into the common area, especially late at night, since the main door slams closed. The location was on a street that seemed a bit sketchy, the trash gets bagged and thrown on the side of the road (probably normal for Athens but we were kind of surprised), but again it was one block from Plaka and seemed safe enough so it was ok. There is one, 3-seater couch in the living room but it would have been nice to have another comfy chair to sit in so our party of 4 could have relaxed together without having to use kitchen chairs. The unit is fine for 4 people but if you have more than 4 you might want to look for something with 3 actual bedrooms (not a pullout in the family room).

Amazing Trip

The photos are accurate- the apartment does not disappoint! We really appreciated the space and decor. The beds were very comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The pool was a hit with the kids and we were able to come home after a night out for an evening swim. Amazing location- it was a great home base to explore Athens and start our summer adventure. We would absolutely stay again.
