We upgraded to club floor which included breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was very lovely with comfortable bed. Easy to walk around city and very safe. Took one star off for check in . I emailed hotel twice letting them know i was coming early and what needed to be done. Happy to pay extra. Told they would make note but no guarantee. When arrived was told room not ready . Left and came back few hours later and was told guest had not even checked out even though it was hours past check out and they paid for late check out. I was very upset that they were allowed late check out when guest were waiting and was not told . She said you should have paid for early check in. I explained it was never offered in my two emails. (She was able to get us a room a few hours later which was earlier than check in which we appreciated but what a hassle. )

Good hotel in a nice area. Walkable to the sky tower, harbor, queens street etc. The only issue is that there is zero flexibility around check in time - which is 3pm and far too late for someone arriving from the U.S. which has flights landing at very early hours.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our visit to Auckland. Both the times the rooms were big and good. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful as well. The water pressure in the bathrooms were less for us but otherwise it was a good experience. The hotel is very conveniently located and close to shopping, dinning and the harbour. Definitely a good spot to stay in if you are exploring downtown Auckland.

We loved our stay. Big hotel lots of walking back and forth. There wasn’t a specific outdoor area for smokers which made it challenging considering we were on floor 12 and at the very back. We booked the club room and the club exclusivity at 5pm was amazing. The food in club room needed more variety. We loved our stay will return.
