Excellent location, this Hotel has been in this location for over 60 years as I was here in 1965!!! Even at 80 yrs, you can walk to most that is Halifax. This OLD place is looking great & still providing an great place to stay

A lovely property. I received a room upgrade upon checking in, which was a nice surprise. Every single staff member I encountered - from the bellperson to the young woman who delivered my room service were friendly and professional - and my room was well appointed and spotless (with a great bed!). Wonderful property - I'll most definitely return the next time I'm in Halifax.

We had a great stay! The hotel is right in the center of Halifax, which made it easy to get around and explore the city. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location couldn’t have been better. Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The Lord Nelson is a hotel full of history and beautiful accommodation. We found that due to its proximity the the Citadel, it was very walkable and easy to get around in. The staff answered all of our questions and had very good recommendations for food and sightseeing. Definitley a place would recommend for a short or long stay.
