There was an older gentleman working last night at the front desk who clearly should not be dealing with the public. Working with public you are supposed to be RESPECTFUL to everybody. The hotel was okay, but after dealing with staff like that I wouldn't come back again.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was centrally located for our needs. My only complaint would be the cost of the indoor parking for clients staying at the hotel. I think $17.00 a night a bit excessive.

Logistical Confusion

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, nice view of parks, saunahot tub and pool, walking distance to downtown
Cons: no breakfast, awkward parking situation
We booked 2 double rooms because there was 8 of us staying together, and the first group that checked in didn't have the confirmation number, or any of the info we had but the desk staff still allowed them to check in. Then the desk staff gave away our other room, when we had pre-paid for that room. They offered us a single with a pull out couch, but I was assertive in saying it was not acceptable as we had 4 people staying in the room. In the end we got the room we paid for, but I was less than impressed that they let the rest of the group check in without my credit card, and confirmation number. Otherwise the stay was satisfactory. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but there were good places to eat nearby. Parking was fairly expensive, and a warning that the parking garage is very narrow and tricky to navigate.

Enjoyed the hotel except the room

Pros: Quiet
Found the lack of cleanliness and re-stocking room poor. Daily we had an issue whether it be no glasses, coffee supplies etc.

Perfect hotel for a weekend away

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, courtesy limo rides to downtown, pleasant helpful staff, nice restaurant on site
The staff allowed us to check in early, and upgraded our room to King bed without charge. My husband bought me flowers without a vase; I called down to ask to borrow one and they found and brought it up quickly. The restaurants menu is creative, high quality ingredients and pleasant presentation with a reasonable, moderate cost. The pool, hot tub and sauna are very clean. I found the staff quite pleasant, helpful and friendly. Quinpool Rd provides wonderful restaurants and downtown is a 10 minute walk away, but during our stay the hotel had courtesy rides downtown. I consider this a 4+ star hotel at a 3 star price.

Hotel staff and rooms were good. Overpriced for location. The parking is horrendous and you have to pay $17 a night for it.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: parking
Expensive overall. Food pricey but the parking is what was the worst. Small spaces, better have a smart car or else good luck squeezing in one! $17 per night and not guaranteed you will get a spot if a function on. We got the last spot after checking out Peggys cove and other guests had to park quite a bit down the street at the QEII Hospital! Close to a Timmys though!

I'd recommend this hotel if it were billed as a 2-star, but it bills itself as a 4-star hotel and it is far from that. Very standard.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Poor breakfast
This hotel is not, by any stretch, a 4-star hotel. It is comparable to any standard hotel chain and, a bit less than some. Older, with few extras, it isn't really worth the effort. Parking is expensive and really, nothing to show for it. I wouldn't stay there again.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, beautiful pool and hot tub workout area too
Loved this hotel, the staff were extremely helpful, and courteous, the location was perfect, loved that they had underground parking and the pool which was the big thing as I had a 5 year old with me was nice and warm. Would i go there again? Oh yes in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact my plans are already made.!!!!

Parking fee's not worth the stay

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: parking very difficult
Having to pay $17 plus tax per night for parking is ridiculous. This hotel has some 3.5star qualities, but when you get a regular room it is more like a 2-2.5 star. Would not stay here again or recommend it.
