- This hotel was truly amazing, the rooms and surrounding areas were clean. - The location was superb. There is a lake for leisure at the back as well as shopping mall and restaurants in walking distance including the one in the building itself. - The building comes with its own amenities that made it fun stay in on a rainy day. - The staff was available to answer questions and provide what was asked of them. - Breakfast was amazing with variations and rotation of items.

Great location in Halifax. Clean and nice layout. Was disappointed that I requested and paid for a lake view but got a main floor room with a noisy parking right outside the window next to the bed. When I mentioned it to staff, all they said was we’ll look into it.

My overall stay was good, but the only thing that was disappointing was it states that you have a restaurant which serves breakfast lunch and dinner? Yes breakfast is included with the room and then the restaurant does not open until 4 o’clock.

Nice for the price

Overall the hotel was good. Staff not in the friendly side but relatively pleasant. Restaurant food left much to be desired. I’d ordered fish cakes, which were very soft and accompanied with 2 pieces of vegetables. The accompanying sauce was cold and the waiter insisted that’s how it should be, not understanding that cold cream with hot fish, in this particular case, doesn’t go together. The pillows in the room were very soft and uncomfortable. But that’s a problem we come across at most chain hotels, even the 4 star ones.

Clean and well appointed rooms, very friendly staff, good location except no other restaurants or shopping in walking distance, breakfast bar very good, staff were constantly refreshing food, cleaning up spills and removing dirty dishes, parking is a bit of an issue later in the evening however staff were very helpful in finding a parking spot; location is very picturesque and pleasant by the lake; definitely recommend staying here!

Enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, except for traffic starting at 6:30. We were right on the road...there are roms facing the lake that would have no traffic noise. The lake area is wonderful for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very nice. Excellent bar. Great view of lake from bar, and restaurant. Good breakfast. Deck has nice view of lake. What we did not like was loud and forceful air conditioning
