Great Location! Walkable to great dinning options. One block down from the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and walkable to the Museum of Natural History and the Public Gardens. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance as well. Technically you can walk to the waterfront in 7 minutes but we caught an Uber to and from the waterfront. They came within 3 minutes and it was not expensive. Halifax is a pretty hilly city so keep that in mind.

This will be my go to hotel in Halifax!

Great staff!!! comfy beds and nice room. Very nice outdoor patios and good "happy hour"... Quick and efficient valet parking. Excellent location. Only complaint is that some outlets didn't work or were hard to get to.

We enjoyed our stay. There were lots of places to walk to around the hotel. It was easy to walk down to the boardwalk. A little bit harder to walk back up the hill.

This property was great. The staff was friendly and kind. Due to a family emergency we had to cut out stay short and treatwd us with kindness. The only downside is the broken elevator made it hard to bring luggage from the parking garage.

Great location friendly staff

Location was central to everything. Many restaurants nearby. Waterfront is 5-10 minute walk. The hotel bar was great for happy hour. The pool and hotel rooms were a little older and could maybe use some renovations.

I stayed in one of the crown rooms on the sixth floor, and while it was nice enough, it wasn’t exceptional and didn’t wow for the price. The rooms are kind of dated and not that large, but the beds and pillows are super comfortable. The whole crown service thing isn’t really worth the price — the lounge is nothing to get excited about, it’s just soft drinks, water, coffee, and some packaged snacks. It is convenient and I did use it, but I didn’t get enough value from it to justify the cost. The breakfast buffet at the Prince George is really good, but next time I would just purchase that separately ($25 for an adult, $12 for kids). It really is a step above other hotel breakfasts. For example, they have eggs Benedict, tons of fruit, and chia seed pudding. Very nice. Where the Prince George really shines is their service. The staff are very attentive and make their guests feel well taken care of. Whether it was staff at the front desk, the concierge, housekeeping, or the host at the restaurant, everyone I met there gave top notch service.
