Great hotel for a couple nights' stay!

Our stay at the Hilton was great! The location was perfect for a quick little girls trip, easy to walk or catch a ride to the downtown area, or attend an event at the University. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and our view of the Capitol was lovely. The front desk folks were helpful, and the bar by the reception area was fast and staffed with friendly bartenders.

Middle of the action

As nice as any HGI we've stayed at. The only concern was the random raised floor boards around the bar area. Even though it's well marked, it's still a tripping hazard. Especially around a bar. And the ice machines didn't seem to be working. At least not on our floor. And there wasn't water available in the lobby area, that I could find. But we loved our room and the check in staff.

I enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn in Austin every time and it is still one of the top hotels in all of Austin. I highly recommend it to anyone as UT, the capital, great restaurants, etc. are all within walking distance!
