The stay at the Hunmingbird Dome was great! The place was very clean, stocked with everything you needed. They even had a cute welcome basket with fun spa goodies, snacks and more. The deck has a mesh gate which was nice to keep the dog on the deck. It was a very peaceful relaxing stay. I highly recommend to anyone to stay at this property.
This place was a little gem, we decided last minute to try and find a getaway for the holiday, and we stumbled on the dome. The sauna, plunge, and hot tub added quite a wonderful experience, especially after the long day hikes in the beautiful nature nearby!! Great location, great host, and unique experience!
We had a wonderful time enjoying our stay. Everything we needed was available. John was great with communicating and checking on us. The sauna and cold plunge was an excellent addition. We were able to unplug and be still creating an extremely relaxing get away. We will return.
My husband and I stayed here for a super short anniversary getaway! It was a fun and unique stay! John could not have been more helpful and informative about anything he thought we may have needed. Super easy check in & check out. Very clean & nice. Loved the views! The hot-tub and sauna were amazing! Overall an amazing stay!
This property is beautifully done inside and out. They âve really put in a lot of thought to give you the most relaxing and fun stay. Weâd recommend to anyone and hope to visit again!
It was the best date I've had in years. Hot tub and sauna, the best thing that can happen on a winter day. Everything is well thought out and perfectly organized. We will definitely come back again.
To start, prior to the visit, John was very communicative and reasonable about any questions and requests we had, he even turned on the sauna and hot tub for us so when we got there we could just hop right in!The property itself is well away from the noise of the major roads in the area, and the drive there was beautiful on its own! The dome had a lovely view of one of the ridges, and overlooks the spa deck. It was raining when we got in, and John drove us up himself to make sure we got up the access road and into the dome. The rain was SO lovely to listen to on the dome and really speaks to the uniqueness of the accommodation. We had ample access to cook with a nice induction hot plate and toaster oven and a dishwasher. Everything worked as intended. The spa amenities were clean, as the bathroom and sleeping space were as well. It was great being able to freely move between, no schedule in mind and just relaxOverall, my wife and I really enjoyed the simplicity of the space and spa ameneties, John openly asked for feedback and what would be important for us. This property is also really close to mountain biking in Pisgah - some of the best in the world! He evidently cares that we had a great experience and weâre excited to come back and go ride some trails!
