The staff were all so friendly and helpful! We slept great...no noise and comfortable temperature. The price was very reasonable and the restaurant had great food and reasonable prices Would definitely stay here again!

Stay was ok but needs a makeover

This property could use a big makeover. It’s very outdated and our room door would not even latch shut unless we used the latch and chain, still leaving a decent gap. Staying on the second floor means you hear every move of the people above and the ice machine in the hall. The carpet needs to be pulled and it would be great to have a couple more outlets in the room as you had to unplug something to plug something else in. The staff was lovely. The restaurant was ok but nothing fantastic. The lakeside and proximity to Michigan Tech is certainly the draw

We checked in at 5 pm and our room wasn't ready until 6 pm. Checkin ias advertised as 3pm. They said that they were short staffed.

Safe and easy stop in close proximity to houghton. the hotel is slightly dated but the pool and spa were clean and the room was perfect for sleeping. easy to find and their dining room keeps great hours. will be back!

Nice hotel

Our 3rd time staying at this hotel when visiting studen at MTU. Nice pool and hot tub. Comfortable beds. Usually quiet i think there was a party Friday night.

Everything at property was ok. Except red head lady working night shift. Very unpleasant. I asked for a lower level room because I had a hip replacement lately. She informed me she cant control it. I then asked if possible to get a room with lake view. She handed me my license and credit card back and told me to contact expedia. The hotel was dead empty. I travel for work and get hotels everyweek. I know this is not how it works. Extremely unpleasant lady.

This is a very nice place, but unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We stayed here because we had an early morning meeting in Ontonagon. The room next to us had a very loud party going on until 2 a.m. We could hear absolutely everything that happened in the room. If I had known it was a party hotel for the snowmobilers, I would not have stayed here.
