Excellent location, close to the best beach in the city and residential neighbourhood with good restaurants and grocery stores. However, it is a bit far from main tourist attractions. The room is huge, but the furniture is of lower quality. Overall the room quality is a bit lower than what one might expect for a 4-star hotel.

It’s my second time staying at ILUNION Barcelona. Both stays have been amazing. The staff is wonderful, the rooms and common areas are kept clean and the location is perfect for both city exploring and a beach vacation.

I did not like most of the staff. They were not warm nor friendly. When I asked questions they acted as if I was bothering them or that I was not intelligent. It was my first trip to Spain and Poblenou so naturally I would have questions.. I was disappointed in the people of that town. I di not feel welcomed as an American. I was polite, smiled and used manners and still was not treated with respect.

This is a great hotel. It is a little away from the center but that made it quiet and safe. There are plenty of dining options around and if you want to venture in further into the city there are good safe transport options around too. It’s a short stroll to the beach too. The hotel is very clean, and feels like a luxury hotel in certain aspects. The breakfast is totally amazing!! It states continental but there were also some hot options such as the very best scrambled eggs! I was also impressed that the hotel practices disability diversity in its employment strategy! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A few metro stops from the the town centre, 10 mins to the beach and the local ramble. Perfect views from room and roof top pools. Not to mention the yummy breakfast buffet.
