Great location, very good breakfast. The rooms can be modernized and will definitely benefit from better lighting. The existing lighting in rooms is not enough

“Central Location, but in need of modernisation

The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya, and other key attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring Barcelona. However, the property is in need of a facelift and some modernisation. The rooms are quite basic and tired and lack essential amenities such as charging plugs near the bed and functional lighting. Unfortunately, on the first night of my stay, the room lock broke, and the door could not be opened—neither with new key cards nor by the reception staff. I had to wait over an hour, past midnight, for maintenance to arrive, as there is no on-site maintenance available in the evening. On a positive note, the staff were helpful and offered free breakfast as compensation for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

Nice location, comfortable

We stayed there for 4 nights, room was clean and good size. Bed was comfortable but sofa bed was of average comfort. Location is very good just 2 min walk to la rambla and metro station is less than 5 minutes walk, lots of food options with in a fee minutes walk. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.

Hotel concierge were very nice and helpful. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Nice bed and bathrooms spacious. Location is great, Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance as well as transportation and places of interest. I would definitely recommend and stay stay there again.

Barcelona hotel stay

This hotel was first class.Our room had a super kingsize bed whichvwas so comfortable. The room had an adjoining living area and bathroom which were really well equipped. The bathroom had rituals shower gel and shampoo which was really nice.The hotel location was superb as only 2min walk to las ramblas.There was a pool on the top floor which opened from 10am which had a few sun loungers which was lovely.The hotel staff were really friendly .I cant comment on the food as we ate out as there are such a variety of places to eat.The hotel lobby had a really nice comfortable bar area.On arrival i was upgraded to a junior suite as I am a member of expedia and hotels.com and given a bottle of wine which was a really nice gesture.

Great location for the whole Ramblas areas and convenient for all attractions which can be reached via various transport links. Food was good. Staff very helpful and rooms clean and a decent size. Our only criticism is the rooms have very thin walls so the noise from adjoining rooms is problematic

The location was great for walking around old town. Many close restaurant options. It would have been nice to come early in season when the pool and bar area were still open. It is a nice big deck area to sit though.
