Staff was nice enough. Towels were strangely hard to come by. Asked at the front desk and they had one large size towel to provide. Asked the housekeeper and she asked the room number but then never actually brought any towels. The condition of the place was borderline.

The stay was a nightmare. I changed room three times. The first time, the door lock did not work, after working on the lock for over two hours, it was finally suggested to give me another room. The second room did not have heat and unfortunately it was cold in Baton Rouge. The third room what roaches crawling in it. I have videos. The staff was unprofessional including the general manager. The lady at the front desk was very professional and courteous. I have videos of roaches crawling on the curtain, in the kitchen sink. Iā€™ve never stayed at a Marriott in such conditions. The room needed a lot of maintenance attention. It was water damage under the sink and in the ceiling near the refrigerator area. The bathtub caulking needs better repair or renovated tub area. The laundry room was not swept in days and so funky we went to a local laundromat nearby. Well beliow the expected standards for this brand hotel.

The staff was attentive during our visit. But the room was not so great. The bed needed to be flipped since it had ā€œdivotsā€ from the many people who slept on it before us, the shower head needs to be replaced, several of the outlets did not work, and the room felt like it needed an upgrade.

The front desk attendant when we arrived was very personable and accommodating. We arrived after 10p and her shift was about to end but she made sure that we were well taken care of before her shift ended. Loved the location and look forward to coming back to this location whenever we come to Baton Rouge.

Been staying in this hotel for years. But enough is enough. The sheets had gum attached to it. Room was smelly, not enough towels, only small ones. Closet door in bad shape, this hotel needs to be remodeled asap!
