My second time staying at this hotel with the family. We had 2 rooms and overall this was a good stay but short of excellent. Once again the breakfast was a major positive. The hotel is warm and comfortable and very good value for money. A few niggles this time - the greeting / welcome we received at check-in left a bit to be desired but overall staff were courteous and helpful. Also we did have an issue with the heating in our room which on a cold night wasn’t ideal.

Clean, spacious room. Staff friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout stay. Breakfast - great selection and very tasty. Location - very central! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great location, clean room and helpful staff on site. The down side was the room was paid for as a gift from my sister, it wasn’t made clear that the card used to pay for the room along with the cardholder MUST present it upon check in! She was not staying as a guest so that and the unexpected MANDATORY (again wasn’t made clear at any point of booking) safety deposit fee for the room to pay cause a bit of upset and stress to what was otherwise a much appreciated, thoughtful and kind surprise trip away!
