Gem of a place! Gorgeous old building with high ceilings and plasterwork in the bar and breakfast rooms. Delicious cooked breakfast made to order. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great to have ample parking. Slept well as it was so quiet. Would definitely return if I wanted to visit the area again.

The greeting on check in was good. The room was large and everything was clean. A few areas could have done with a cosmetic overhaĺl. Breakfast was served efficiently and the cooked breakfast was large, the ingredients were not premium but adequate. There was some noise from other rooms either early morning or later at night from other guests.

Okay value for money

Breakfast was okay, little lacking in choice. Eg. Filter coffee would have been nice. The hotel was not busy we were given a ground floor room which was fine but the noise from upstairs rooms and people talking in reception during the night didn't really give a restful stay. If we stay again we will definitely ask for an upstairs room. Cleanliness was good, shower adequate if a little small but overall I would say value for what we paid.

Nice breakfast not part of the price we paid for accomodation , but good quality, fair portion size, nice coffee, cooked freshly. Did not notice street noise despite the main road. Reasonable amount of car parking. Wanted somewhere near K K Steelmills, this fitted the bill, little over a mile so walkable, but we were there on a wet night, under £5.00 minicab it arrived promptly.

Lovely hotel with really friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. Convenient location and walkable to shops nearby. Rooms were clean and well presented. Would definitely stay again next time I am in Wolverhampton.

I was looking to make this an alternative choice to Novotel for a handicappedfriend. But to receive voiceovers that 'all our staff are busy,etc' when calling,only to find one member of staff who manned Reception, served meals,pleasantly,not a good advert.4-5 flights of stairways killed that Novotel alternative.
