When we arrived at check in we were told we were being upgraded to an “executive room “ which we were pleased about. When we got to our room which was in no way “executive “ we found we had walked in to an oven! We thought that maybe the heating had been left on and we were in a rush to get out to see the show we had booked so we opened the windows and set the air conditioning to as low as it would go. When we returned later in the evening we found the room to be still as hot, and not wanting to cause a fuss we attempted to sleep. However after a few hours tossing and turning we had to call reception to report it. After a long wait eventually two staff members knocked our door and fiddled about with the heating controls but to no avail. (One of the staff said it would just cool through the night!) They eventually decided that we should move room and we were moved next door to a room that was fine. As we only got a few hours sleep we felt that our trip to London had been spoiled.

Good convenient stay
My stay was good, very convenient for our evening venue, room comfortable and had all we needed . breakfast was a bit disappointing, bacon way overcooked tough to eat, no fried eggs out, had to ask. No marmalade at all !! Had to wait for coissants selections of bread most baskets empty
