A Bed on the Beach! Dollhouse in the Dunes! Island and lighthouse views. Listen to the waves right outside your door. Nothing between you and the sea except dune grass and sand. Formerly part of the beloved Ocean View Campground and Cottages. Newly renovated, granite counters.
This is a tiny house perfect for 2. Queen size bed in the main living area.
Bath with shower, kitchenette with sink, refrigerator. Note for 2022 cooking must be done outside on the grill. The kitchen inside will still have fridge and coffee maker but no microwave or cooking appliances.
Close to restaurants, Fort Popham, Fort Baldwin.
WIFI, landline phone ( poor cell service ) with free long distance


All guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. This home is part of an association and rules set by the association must be adhered to. No Unit Owner shall obstruct or interfere with the rights of other occupants or annoy them by unreasonable noise or otherwise. 3. No Unit Owner shall use the Common Elements or Limited Common Elements for any activity that would obstruct or deter views, ingress or egress by other Unit Owners or guests or invitees Boats longer than 12 feet, motor homes, campers, trailers of any kind, tents, shacks, sheds or other outbuildings are not allowed on the property. Storage for boats less than 12 feet, dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards shall be within the Unit Owners Limited Common Element and not obstruct the view of any other Unit owner No trash, rubbish or other offensive materials or materials degrading in appearance shall be allowed to exist on the Units or Common Elements excluding any area designated for trash and/or recycling by the Association
Please note. Due to recent erosion there can be very little beach at high tide so you need to plan your day accordingly.

Directions to the cabin were very detailed, and check-in process was easy. Cabin was exactly as advertised, ready and clean. The Host was quick to answer any questions we had, and very accommodating when needed. Cozy cabin, beautiful view of the Ocean, and hearing the waves all day and night was spectacular. If we ever come this way again, we would definitely come back here.

Host communicated well and sent clear instructions for check-in as well as prompt communication when a slight issue arose. We had just enough space for us and 2 dogs! Loved hearing the waves and seeing the water outside the window! Our favorite beach was a 1 minute walk! Wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful cozy escape!

This was perfect for a solo weekend near the water (would be great for a couple also). You can hear the ocean and the view is amazing. Would love to return!

Lovely beach front location. Adorable little cottage. Ideal for two for a short stay. Floor was sandy upon arrival ( provided vac took care of this). Limited storage space, had to put luggage under the bed- that worked. A toaster oven and/or microwave would be a nice addition to the kitchen. Overall - enjoyable stay and plan to return. Deb’s responses were prompt and informative.

Tiny house by the beach😊💕

This little house has been delightful to rent. It is in an ideal location and is supplied with anything and everything you would ever need! I love waking up hearing the waves, and looking out the front window-it looks like it is out of a book. Deb has been a wonderful host and is readily available if need be. Love, love, loved my stay. Perfect location at the beach

Lovely cottage at the edge of the sand dunes and ocean beyond. Falling asleep to the sound of waves is amazing. Bed was comfortable. Missed having a microwave or some way of heating food but I guess it's a code regulation or something. The fridge is adequate but a bit small. Be prepared to have basic food items that only need a toaster. There is a grill on the deck and you can get creative with that. There are limited restaurants unless you drive into Bath. Just plan accordingly. Truly lovely.

Amazing

I’ve seen this beach house advertised for years and last year my husband and finally booked it for three nights last September and I fell in love! Not only with the cottage but its beach. I grew up in the 70’s and my grandmother and I would take her camper and stay at the camp site on popham beach. That’s where my love for popham began! Back when I was little there was an ice cream shop right in the beach!! It got washed away a few times in my childhood but it always returned. So sad it is no longer there. Anyway, yes I recommend this cottage and loved it so much my daughter and I stayed in June for three nights. This will always be my go to spot for vacation!! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Communication with the manager was great and responses were quick and helpful! Thanks again!

Great location! Beach and view are spectacular! Cottage needed some real TLC! A new bedspread and rug and more hooks to hang clothes would have been appreciated. No stove or microwave made meals difficult.

This was the second year we rented this incredible property and once again it was nothing short of spectacular. Ocean views, clean spacious house and prompt service. A professional operation who gets it just right for a family looking for a stress-free, luxurious week on one of the East coast’s best beaches. Deb is a pro who knows exactly how to accommodate discerning guests. Will be back every year going forward as long as she allows it. Priceless Maine beach vacation. 5 stars.

A tiny cabin with a million dollar view. We were fortunate to be able to book this special place. Hoping that next July we can stay there again, but it's doubtful because it's usually occupied.

It's all about the View

We were able to relax to the sounds of the surf and have never slept better. Our view was just simply beautiful no matter the weather. Everyone we met was friendly and very helpful. We will be back.

Tiny Cottage in th Waives

I almost don’t want you to review this property because I don’t want other people to realize how awesome is this. My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway in September and it was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is small but the pictures are very accurate and there is more than enough room for two people. It has been very tastefully decorated and had everything that we needed for a weekend away. As far as location, you can’t get any closer to the ocean. The eastern facing side of the cottage has a large windows that open right up to the ocean so you can fall asleep to the waves. The owner is a great communicator and gets back to you with any questions that you have. We can’t wait to stay again soon!

A little slice of heaven

Everything about the property was exactly as described, Deb was extremely thorough in her communication with us (love that she sent emails to us about the check in process and what things the cottage had so that we didn’t pack unnecessary things), and the location couldn’t be more perfect. We’ll definitely be back again this year or next year!
