A group of friends stayed for the weekend at this beautiful home. The space is wonderful, open and spacious. The home has everything you need, from kitchen tools to beautiful towels and linens. We did wish that we were able to have a fire in the fireplace.

July 4th, 2025 week stay

We had 6 adults and 6 children stay at BaxCab and enjoyed it very much. The weather was VERY summery so we didn't use the playroom very much. However, it was nice to have the option and we did use it some for a couple games and storage for our items. The house was updated with a kitchen with everything we needed. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. With the AC going, the basement was very cold. The property manager brought over two kid friendly space heaters within an hour of our asking...not all the ceiling vents closed very well. He also had 2 brand new basketballs delivered when we said the two available ones were soft. The basketball hoop ended up being a bit too high for our grand kids to play though. Movie projector was used once for a movie on an extremely hot day but we had to jerry rig it so it was straight on the screen. The deck needs some work...new boards put on and deck chairs that don't slip into the cracks on the deck! We had a few mishaps when that happened. The yard was GREAT. We set up a bunch of yard games. Fishing was fun and we caught enough to have a fish fry. Beach sand area...good but there should be a walkway between yard grass and dock. Sand was VERY hot to walk on!! Swimming area was ok. Grand kids swam a few times, but it was weedy. We did try to clean it a bit with the tools provided. Fire pit area was very nice. Communication with property manager was SO GREAT! We would recommend this place to others for sure.

Great Location with So Much To Do

This house is set in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was a sisters & daughters weekend for us. The house had plenty of room for 10 of us both in sitting, socializing, and sleeping. The location was close to do retail therapy on Saturday afternoon with restaurants. We enjoyed being able to also cook on our own with a well-stocked kitchen. While I asked many questions, the owner was quick to respond and also provided numerous videos to answer questions I hadn't thought of. We did not even venture out to the game room, so I cannot comment on that. Great house - great host. We agreed we would return here again on a sisters & daughters weekend.

Excellent Family Winter Vacation Home

We really enjoyed our winter getaway at this VRBO home in Baxter. The home was beautiful, clean and spacious. We had all the convenience of home. It was located near (approximately 2-3miles) water parks, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. We had kids of multiple ages ranging from 6 months to 10 yrs old. The movie room, garage game area and bunkbed room was perfect for them. Communication with property management was excellent. Quick with responses. We would definitely recommend this home to families looking for a comfortable space for all ages.

we took 3rd in the tourney but were the real winners for having stayed at the Baxcab!we had one full team gather for dinner, the boys moved between the game room and movie room and had a blast!the parents enjoyed the open kitchen living room area with plenty of comfy seating for card games and chatter. Then when it was team curfew, parents had their own rooms and kiddos slept in the space bunk room.We plan to come next year! it might be our annual winter get away.Thank you so much for thinking of everything!-extra ping pong balls-garbage bags-towels-and being wonderfully communicative!

Great time!

This property was perfect to celebrate our family Christmas. We were all coming from different directions, and this was a great location. Despite the cold temperatures, we were able to go ice skating and ice fishing. The beds were comfortable and they had everything we needed. The kids had a fun time playing games in the shed

This property was perfect for our family! The lake access was wonderful, successful fishing from the dock and the canoe that was provided. The kitchen was well stocked, TVs and games were very much appreciated. We also appreciated that a high chair, portacrib and bed rail were provided. A very comfortable house for our extended family of 10! Nicely updated and remodeled. The only deduction on my review is for the cleanliness. Overall, it was clean but more obscure places like the ceiling fans and baseboards were coated with dust. were coate

Space Galore!

We booked this cabin for my folk's 75th birthdays and brought all our mid twenties children and one little one who's 3. The space is so great! Everyone has a place to sleep and with the movie room and game room in the garage, the elders could turn in early and the twenty somethings could play games and hang out into the evening without keeping everyone up! The lake shore was perfect for our 3yo., sandy and sloping gently. We brought a boat and had a great time tubing and caught some small fish right off the dock. There is a canoe and paddle board to use. Lots of sand toys and misc. Games to play with. The game room has a dart board, ping pong, and foose ball. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked! Even with 10 adults and 1 child we didn't run out of plates or silverware and there are utensils and pans galore. Beautiful property. We'll be back!

Annual Family Vacation

This property was great for our annual vacation with extended family. This cabin offered lots of room for the nine of us tp spread out and have several activities goibg at the same time. The garage turned out to be the ultimate mam cave for darts and cards along with a ping pong competition. The nearby bike trail offered great fun and the deck was awesome for morning coffe and outdoor meals. The mangement was easy to work with and helped us reserve a boat for the week. We will definitely be back!

There were ten of us that spent five days at this location. The location was great and the access to the lake was wonderful. It was relaxing and met our needs. Mike was always very prompt and helpful whenever I had a question. We enjoyed our time there.
