Golf trip & Lake time

We stayed here for our golf trip. Played The Preserve twice, beautiful course. The cabin has a dock to use so had a nice place to park my pontoon. The cabin is plenty big, nice & clean. The bar area in the basement is fantastic. The 3 stall garage was open for us to park in, which was nice based on a step came tru one night. Overall very excellent place for the money! Would recommend.

We loved our stay at the Love Lake Manor! The home was very clean and spacious. It was a quiet area and we loved the privacy of the yard. We hosted a girls trip and Each person had their own bed which was a plus. The yard is a great size for hanging outside or doing yoga on the lawn. The location was great, not far from Nisswa and Gull Lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location!

The Perfect Location

The location on Love Lake is ideal!! A very nice clean and friendly neighborhood away from the busyness of Gull Lake, while in close proximities to local restaurants and breweries! The house was cozy and clean. The downstairs high top island bar was ideal for playing card games and swapping laughs!

Weekend Getaway at the Lake

This house was perfect for our friends and family. We enjoyed sitting on the deck sipping coffee as the day got going. The firepit was an excellent gathering spot to finish out the day. We were close to activities and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything you need in a vacation rental. We would definitely book it again.

Great Family Location!

We stayed five nights in this great home with total of seven adults and two small children. It was better than advertised... a quiet location on a small lake connected to Gull Lake. The home was well stocked and very clean. The property manager was easy to contact via text or phone and quickly responded to all matters. When we return to the Brainard area this will be our first choice for lodging!

Fall Getaway

This was a great place! Loved it! It was as nice as it looked on line and we had a great time on our fall getaway. It was a very nice place to use as "home base". Would stay here again for sure & would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, upscale place to stay. Way better than hotel rooms.

Family Summer Week on Gull

Our family of 6 college kids and one high schooler stayed here for a week during the summer. It was a nice size to accommodate us. The majority of our time was spent on our boat on the lake. Only requests - why make your guests pick up firewood? Have firewood on site so they don’t have to think about it and add another stop or go out and get it. Some evening were quite chilly and working g remotes for fire place and tv would be helpful. They did quickly resolve a broken tv remote. Overall great accommodation, quiet neighborhood. Full kitchen and bath accommodations provided. Love the location which is convenient to both Baxter and Nisswa.

Great house for a large group!

We loved this house on Love Lake - there was plenty of room for the 7 of us and the layout provided good separation for everyone (we weren't crammed in). The kitchen was extremely well set up - there really wasn't anything they didn't have for people who like to cook and I am super picky about that! The downstairs bar/movie theater area was fabulous and we used the fire pit every night (they even provided S'more roasting sticks!). We brought out boat and tied it to the dock and spent our days on Gull lake which is connected by a short channel...we also brought our paddleboard - it's a great lake for that - nice and calm. 5 stars for this great property!

Early june visit

No complaints. Here are some things to look at or into. It would have been nice to have the sun setter awning working. Check the light in the first bedroom by the front door, it flickers sometimes. The screen door binds if you open it with the wrong pressure. It looks like someone ran into at some point in its life. The bottom screw on the sliding glass door is stripped. We learned how to work the door without making the screw fall out, but it is stripped. Last thing, the front door was unlocked when we got there. Once again, these are not complaints. It is a beautiful hose and very nicely prepared and presented. I recommend it to anyone and will be glad to be able to stay there on our next visit to gull Lake.
