There was so much construction going on…not clean. The comforters were gross. The pillows all different. Dead lady bugs on the floor. Was not impressed

Under construction/remodel. So some amenities are not available. My non-smoking room had a lingering smell of smoke. There was hair in the dresser, dusty and dirty, especially behind the headboard. The bathroom was the best out of everything, but I believe there's well water and I can bathe in that. I'm frustrated because none of this goes along with the title of Luxury. I would like a refund.

We only stayed a few minutes because the room was dirty. It did not have the amenities that they still had.. there was no bar in the toilet for me to grab onto it and it was very low after knee surgery. I couldn’t stay there.. there was only one staff person there to do everything clean check people in. It was very poorly run. I want my money back because they charge me before I got there which was not the conditions of the booking. Please inform me if you can help me ASAP thank you

One modest hiccup. Our rooms had two TVs and 3 different remotes. All 3 were on the same counter with no guides or operating instructions. Very confusing for a couple of technology challenged 80+-year-old seniors. All we wanted to do was watch a specific program on a live broadcast. Finally figured it out after 20 minutes of trial and error.

They do not have a pool like it says they do. The place smelled strongly of smoke even though it said non smoking, the towels were old and scratchy, the bathroom needed to be cleaned better, stained toilet. I would stay here again though - it just is not worth the price I paid for it. The bed was comfortable and clean. Which made up for a lot - the little fridge did work. The lamp shades were all cracked - made me feel like I was in a murder mystery room. There are no places for a USB charging. Old hotel - if you need a place to crash - its fine but its a step above camping.

The pool/spa area has been "out of order" the entire seven years I've been spending Labor Day weekend in Nisswa, which leads me to wonder if it ever worked at all. The mattress in my room (#117) must have been 40 years old, offered absolutely NO support at all, and sagged in all the wrong places. Accordingly, I'm going to have a back ache for about a week. Staff seemed friendly, and the surroundings were clean and well kept.

Hotel should reduce my fees- amenities not availab

The staff was super friendly. However, the hotel is under new management so the pool and hot tub were down for renovation; there was no breakfast offered; the ice machine was out of service; the hair dryer had been pulled off the wall and was laying on the clothes rack along with the wall mount: no light bulb in the large lamp. My fee should be reduced because of all the amenities listed in their website were not available and weren’t told to me before my arrival.

Change of ownership cited for very slow & cumbersone check in process. Room was large but didn’t feel clean. Didn’t feel that safe - there were a lot of dodgy characters hanging around the entrance smoking late at night. Including the receptionist….avoid if you have kids or teens.

Okay, but needs renovation

The staff was friendly and the parking lot has easy access, but the building is in need of renovation. It is an older building with scratched metal doors, worn carpeting, a bathroom fan that did not move air, and too much furniture in the small room that made it feel overcrowded. Also, the ice machine was out of order and there is no continental breakfast available.

First, the bed was terrible, very worn out, no sheets. Second, the toilet in the bathroom was loose and it tilted to one side. The towels were very worn out, they didnot even dry your skin. Will never stay there again, for what the price was to stay was way over priced for what you got!!!

No complaints

Was in town for race weekend. Other options we 2 or 3 times the peice, so I took a chance. Hotel was fine. Rooms were clean, service was fine, beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy, but staying in the hotel wasn't the purpose of my trip. I dont have any complaints.
