An homage to green woodworking, Journeyman is the perfect place to gather with friends and family while connecting with nature. It features an impressive entryway with double height ceilings and breathtaking views of the woods. The large open plan living space has an equipped kitchen, a dining and seating area as well as your own projector screen for film nights plus a vintage pool table! There’s a huge deck with two outdoor baths, outdoor rain shower and plenty of outdoor seating to take in the stars.

Journeyman has two bedrooms with king sized beds, two twin rooms and two bathrooms upstairs plus downstairs loo. If you need a cot just let us know when you book. We also have the option to add a single bed downstairs if needed.

Outside there’s a huge deck, gas BBQ, pizza oven and fire pit. There’s also two outdoor baths and shower to allow you to get closer to nature.

Regrettably, we cannot accept bookings from stag/hen parties due to the tranquil nature of the woods and the disturbance this could cause for others.

You’ll have plenty to explore with over 60 acres of woodland and a wider 300 acre farm. There’s an on-site cidery, tennis court and wellbeing treatments are also bookable in advance. Hampers and feasting kits can also be arranged up to five days before your stay.
