Tantallon in Berry - an exclusive getaway with wifi + pool

Tantallon was the historic seat of the Douglas's in the Scottish Highlands. You will feel some of that highland spirit when you stay at Tantallon in Berry and gaze out at the escarpment across the gentle slopes of Bundewallah valley. It's only a five-minute drive from the Berry township and 15 minutes from the spectacular Seven Mile Beach.

So come, stay and relax in one of the greenest places in Australia. Sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many species of birds as they sail on the valley thermals. Take in the peaceful quietness of the countryside and watch the colours of the sky change as evening falls. If it's hot, cool off in the salt-water pool. Bring your swimmers and beach towels.


ACCOMMODATION

Tantallon, set on seven acres of sloping pastureland, is luxurious self-contained accommodation attached to the main homestead. It has its own private entrance into a spacious living and dining area with a modern fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom with a queen size bed, has a luxury en-suite, a bath for two and separate walk-in shower. Off the living area are two additional bedrooms, each with queen beds, and a second bathroom with bath and shower.

Please note when booking for two guests you will have access to one bedroom, for three or four guests you will have access to two bedrooms. If you require extra rooms for single guests, there is an additional charge of AUD $50 per room per night. For five or six guests, all three bedrooms will be open.

For those who wish to explore the area, bring your hiking boots. There are established walking tracks: but it all depends on how energetic you are. If you prefer to stay indoors, there is digital television, Foxtel including the sports channels, and a DVD player with an extensive collection of DVDs.
There are also excellent restaurants, wineries and coffee shops within a five minute drive.

PETS
For those with pets (dogs or cats) we recommend Petcharm Lodge which is only five minutes from Tantallon. Your pet will be pampered during your stay (and their's) and you are able to visit them regularly if desired. For more details "google" 'petcharmlodge'.
