When we checked in I asked the receptionist Richard what time breakfast was he stated that they stop serving breakfast the week past, but when we reserved the room on line it said Breakfast was included. The room was clean and it had beautiful waterview. The Queen bed wasn't very comfortable. The receptionist must of had a bad day as any questions like restaurants he answered like I was bothering him. It said It was a Deluxe room, the only thing that made it Deluxe was the view.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. I loved the view of the bay. The one thing that proved to be a problem was no continental breakfast. When I asked where we could go for breakfast, the answer was, "it's after Columbus Day. I don't think anything is open."

Easy access, clean spacious rooms and a beautiful view from the balcony. Internet did not work, so I had to use my hot spot. I did not report this to the front desk, so they were not given the opportunity to fix it for me. Overall great stay, should I need to be in area again I would certainly return.

We are locals who take a few nights annually for quick get away stays near the ocean. We've always enjoyed our stay at the Ledges, however this time we weren't as impressed. When sitting down to eat our sandwiches and enjoy the evening water view, there were spiders lowering themselves from the ceiling via webs which had to be removed. Upon further examination, there were active webs in corners behind chairs and in corners that had clearly been there a while. The entire floor throughout had a layer of dirt, hair and other debris that could be felt with bare feet. When shining a light on it, you could tell it too had not been properly cleaned between guest visits. Perhaps this was just an isolated event - I hope, but it was displeasing for our stay. The toilet paper was nearly out with no replacement roll anywhere in room. We searched for a microwave overnight to warm up a leftover sandwich, but to no avail there was not one in the room. Apparently they have had issues with them being stolen or damaged, so they removed them from all rooms and placed a couple of shared units on property, which we did not know about until asking the next morning. Not a SUPER big deal, but I must say - I've never stayed at a motel/hotel that did not have a microwave in room.

This was a recommendation from my sister who had stayed there a few weeks ago. I compared it to other properties in the other and it was very reasonably priced which was great as I all I required was a clean, safe room to sleep in at the end of long day at a photography workshop. Checkin and Checkout were both a breeze and the staff was great.

Fantastic view of Glen Cove from the balcony! Great place to watch the sunrise. Expansive lawn was walkable and had several benches to sit and overlook the cave. Room was spacious and clean. Very affordable midweek in the off season. Only minus was lack of internet for a couple of days - probably not their fault.

Walls were thin and have to keep that in mind when booking this property. Also be aware of what room you book with view or No view if it matters to you. Otherwise clean property and breakfast was convenient for travelers

The view of the bay and ocean was outstanding. The room and bath area were clean. Parking was fine. I do not like spiders and they were everywhere on the balcony and the landing area to walk to your room. This bothered me.
