Jewel of the Water - this spacious home boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have ensuite baths. Dock and lift with 24ft Sweetwater Tri-Toon, included with home, provides easy access to inter coastal waterway (no bridges or locks). A short drive or boat ride to Matlacha, Pine Island, the ICW and Gulf of Mexico. This home faces a wide canal off the inter costal waterway with mangroves. The wildlife sightings are AMAZING! Manatee's, Sting Rays, flying fish, snook are just a few of the animals you are likely to see during your stay - our guests often remark that their wildlife sightings were the highlight of their stay!
When you finally want to come indoors, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, large kitchen and an additional beverage frig. There are Indoor and outdoor dining options. Indoor dining room seats 6 plus additional seating at the breakfast bar. There is very comfortable outdoor dining that also accommodates up to 6 people. There are 4 well-appointed bedrooms, each with a mounted smart tv. The Ruby Room is a master suite featuring a king size bed and a sitting area furnished with a chaise lounge for lazy afternoons. There is an ensuite bath with dual vanity and shower and separate commode. There is direct access from the Ruby Room to the lanai. The Sapphire Room is also a master suite featuring a King size bed and walk in closet. There is a sliding glass door to the lanai that provides specular views to wake up to. The Sapphire Room also has an attached pool bath. The Jade room features a queen size bed and ensuite bath. The ensuite bath features a large shower, vanity and commode with complete privacy. The Amethyst Room is designed to meet every need of our guests. It serves as great room for children with a full/twin bunk bed and toys for the kiddies. This room can also serve as a bedroom for adults or older children with a very comfy queen size murphy bed. The heart of the house is a large living room with soft and comfortable furniture, large flat screen tv, desk, framed by a large glass sliding door providing breathtaking views. Perfect for families and couples who want to spend time together on the water, watching the manatees, yet have enough room to spread out and have some privacy. There is outdoor in-ground pool that is heated during the cooler months and a 2 person spa, also on the lanai. The dock has a pergola and rocking chair seating for relaxing and watching the wildlife. This home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood, however in walking distance to 2 parks, one of which is on the water and has a kayak launch. Close to shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities. Less than 1 mile to Matlacha. Pine Island, Cape Coral, Burnt Store Marina and Punta Gorda just a few minute drive.
For the little ones, the home does have a pack and play, high chair, and playmat as well as games for all ages.
Please Note: The Boat:
1) Is included with the rental of the home
2) All operators of the boat are required to meet with our boat captain for an orientation and check out boat ride, regardless of boating experience. This is usually scheduled, weather permitting, the day after arrival. All operators are also required to sign a waiver.
3) There is a $250 fee paid directly to the Boat Captain upon his arrival at the home. The Captains accept cash or checks, no credit cards. This is NOT included in your VRBO reservation, as it is paid directly to the Boat Captain.
4) There is a $180 "Administrative Fee" on your reservation through VRBO. This is a refundable fuel deposit. Any part of the fee that is not used for fuel consumed during your stay will be refunded after your departure. Fuel is currently assessed $8.00/gallon. The Boat Captain reviews your fueling options with you at the time of the orientation.
