Diamond Head Beach resort is a fantastic place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Friendly staff. Hotel has direct beach access as well as two hot tubs and a pool. Rooms are clean and the one bedroom suites are wonderful! Spacious suites with a small kitchen. The one I stayed in had a small refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen, sink, and area to use for food prep. This room was spacious and clean. Request an additional towels to be brought to my room Request a additional towels to be brought to my room and the staff who delivered the towels were very friendly The only downfall is the drinks at the bar are basically slushies. I was expecting to get an awesome creamy piña colada but instead it was just a basically a coconut pineapple slushy with some alcohol. Another benefit is the hotel now offers two beach chairs and an umbrella each day for their guest to use on the beach, highly recommend.

2 elevators out of order the other two were very crowed and waited sometimes over 10 minutes for it. No cleaning done in rooms. Front desk unorganized gave misinformation many times. Was locked out of room after paying for an extra night and security for door was disconnected I have a disability and asked to have someone come and unlock door was told i had to get to the lobby. No breakfast on menus room service closed at 8pm. The food expensive and not good. The bar area staff was the best thing here and the servers were great.Bathroom in beach beach area had several stairs to get to. Complaints made were no addressed by anyone.

This place was great for Ft. Myers Beach. Had a nice, spacious room. We were on a road trip for one night, so didn't use the kitchenette. Staff was lovely and kind. Felt like a solid place and happy we stayed. It was a bedroom and living room/kitchen on the top floor. Happy.

Quieter area of the beach but still close to the party. Beach view pool, pooside bar and grill,game area with outdoor games like volleyball and cornhole, lots of tables with umbrellas right on the beach. Easy to rent beach chairs and umbrellas closer to the water. Rooms are well appointed with coffee maker, refrigerator, dishes and utensils. Publix grocery is just a short trolley ride down the beach and trolley stop is just a few steps away from the entrance of the resort. Bars and restaurants at Crescent Beach are a short walk away for those wanting a more lively environment.

The resort was right on the gulf. The pool area was really nice. Beach chairs were not included in the price of your stay and were available at a cost of $15 per day. The elevator was not in the best condition and had a delayed opening. The air conditioner did not keep temperature and had to be turned off and on to keep the room cool. The staff was

The property was quiet and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. Restaurants were awesome! It was walkable to other properties to enjoy alternative restaurants and nightlife.

One night music was a little loud and still reconstruction in the area but not a fault of the stay. Overall very great place and wonderful stay. Loved all the local artists they have for the music.

This property was in a great location so we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We spent most of our it time at the pool and ate at Cabanas several times and the food was good. Drink prices were also very reasonable for staying in a resort. We also really enjoyed the live music every day. The room was surprisingly large and overlooked the pool/Beach. We would definitely stay here again. Only drawback is it would be nice if they sold drinks or snacks somewhere on the property.

This resort is very expensive is number one on the beach yet we paid for it and went. When we arrived on the beach we learn beach chairs and umbrella were not included or part of the hotel compare to what described online. Cost per day was an additional 50.00. We learn after calling twice cleaning for the rooms are not included in our stay compare to what Expedia disclosed online. The room floors were dirty the whole entire time we stay there we had to keep socks on our feet to avoid taking dirt and sand onto the beds.
