Enjoy this new (2015) custom contemporary 1 bedroom flat in a quiet neighborhood of Cardiff, CA. Southern exposure offers morning and afternoon sun in all rooms. With vaulted ceilings in the main living area the space is open and airy. The living room has a full size pull out sofa, arm chair, and cozy window seat as well as a high definition TV, high speed internet, cable, and DVD player provided for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen is eat-in and offers all the conveniences and necessities of home. You'll find everything you need whether you want to cook a holiday meal or just push a button to get your morning coffee or tea. Central heating and A/C provide custom temperature control and the full size bathroom offers a complete set of linens and towels as well as a full size washer and dryer. Rest after a long day at the beach on the queen size memory foam mattress.
A private patio area will allow you to enjoy the southern California weather. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and a surf board are provided. Enjoy a complementary bottle of wine upon arrival and start your vacation!

We used to live in the area, and came back to visit family and friends. The location is simply wonderful. Quiet neighborhood, and very close to anything and everything. The unit was perfect for my husband and myself. Full kitchen, streaming tv options, strong shower and of course the washer/dryer in the unit was a big plus. Run don't walk to book this unit!!!!

Breeder’s Cup trip

Loved the location. We attended The Breeder’s Cup for 2 days at Del Mar and it was so easy driving to and from the races. Also, short drive to beaches and lots of restaurants. Very nice flat in a very nice neighborhood.

A slice of paradise near the ocean

The apartment is bigger than it looks in the photos, with enough room for 2 or 3. The apartment was spotless on our arrival and all appliances worked well. You can easily prepare multiple meals, though many restaurants are close. Jen was a gem of host and was attentive to our needs. Beaches are just minutes away.

Great place to stay

We had a very nice stay at this little apartment above Jen and Colin’s home. The place is decorated nicely and very clean. We appreciated the nice touch with the note and complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. The neighborhood is in the perfect location and close to the things we like to do. With 4 people staying in the unit, it would be great to have a TV in the bedroom. We really enjoyed how comfortable the place was and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful two-week stay

We very much enjoyed our two-week stay in this apartment which has everything one looks for in a VRBO. It is comfortable, quiet, spacious, private and well-equipped and perfectly located with easy access to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Convenient parking and entry to the apartment. When we return to the Cardiff-Encinitas area we hope to stay in this VRBO apartment again. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Comfortable stay

Very nice quiet and safe neighbourhood to stay in.This place sits above the garage of the property and gets quite hot by the end of the day but the air conditioning was lovely. There was no sea view as indicated in the photo as all the trees have matured up. You definately need a car if you stay as there is nothing within walking distance if you need supplies. The place is very well equipped and we had no problem cooking there. Very luxury to have a washer and dryer to use as well. If you are a sensitive sleeper definately have a eye mask as there is no form of blackout in the bedroom. The outdoor area is at the bottom of the stairwell and is comfortable.

Wonderful stay!

Very clean, amazing kitchen, beautiful property & neighborhood, and many nice amenities. Our elementary school age children slept on the pull out sofa, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Teenagers may not like the pull out sofa and the property isn’t for young children because of the stairs.
