Carlsbad Beach Cottage - 1/2 block to Sandy Beach & near Legoland

This Beach Cottage has been completely remodeled. It is perfect for couples, small families and those vacationing alone. It is very comfortable, stylish and cozy with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath sleeps up to 5.

It is located just steps to a beautiful sandy beach. From the cottage it is an easy walk along the beach into the center of the Village with wonderful restaurants, shops and entertainment.

For young children we are a short distance to Legoland. Carlsbad is one of the best rated family beaches in the U.S.A. and has easy access to all activities in Southern California.

The master bedroom has a queen bed. Most nights you can hear the surf at night from the master bedroom. The other bedroom has a full and a twin in a bunk arrangement.

The kitchen has been totally redone with custom granite countertops, beadboard cabinets and new flooring. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, disposal and build in microwave.

There is a patio and sun deck area with barbecue and outdoor dining.

The house is equipped with two flat screen TVs. A DVD and High Speed WiFi Internet connection are also included. Also there is a separate laundry room just for your exclusive use. Parking is off-street.

All kitchen items, towels, linens, beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards are provided. A baby Pac-n-Play is available if needed.

No cleaning fee. Cleaning service will be supplied once at the end of your rental period at no extra cost.

A tradition in the village is to gather at the beach to watch the sunset and look for the Green Flash.

This home is located in a residential neighborhood and we must respect our neighbors. We love children.

This is a great location for Carlsbad ; especially for the beach goers. Downtown Carlsbad is walkable within 10 minutes or so. Lots of great restaurants and options of entertainment. The unit has beach chairs and accessories. The actual rental itself is upgraded, extremely clean and very warm and welcoming. Bob, the host, is excellent. He is very quick on answering/responding to communication. Will definitely be coming back here to stay.

This location is fantastic for an easy walk to the beach! Our young family (kids ages 1 & 3) had a very comfortable stay. Lovely Cottage Close to Beach

Perfect Getaway Cottage

We were really impressed with this cute cottage and the proximity to the clean and lovely beach. It was so nice to have all the beach gear and we also enjoyed the private patio area out in the back. My husband and I stayed here so our 2 adult sons, who live nearby, could join us. Bob was a very gracious host and we'd love to go back again!

Great location and comfort

This was a perfect escape for our family of four. We were met by the host when we drove in and check-in was a breeze. The place was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location to the beach. There was a place out front that we could wash the sand off and plenty of space away from the street to leave our beach tent, beach shoes, sand toys, etc. The laundry room was a bonus and let us wash out sweaty clothes after the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand. Highly recommend Vigilucci's which is only a few minutes by foot away. We would definitely stay again and maybe check out the COASTER train.

Wonderful Stay!

Location location location! We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint house! It was a short walk to the beach and we loved that you could see the ocean from the kitchen. We had our 3 year old with us and I was able to keep an eye on him easily inside the house, which was perfect! Bob was such a gracious host checking in on us via text and then came to our door to check out the eclipse. It was a very memorable stay and we will definitely be back!

Immaculate Little Guest House by the Beach

We are a family of four adults, and we were in town for a family gathering over the holiday weekend. The guest house was perfect for us - clean, cozy, quiet. We loved being 1/2 block away from the beach, the peek of the water through the kitchen window, the faint sound of the surf at night. The location is convenient while also being situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. Bob is a great host - helpful and communicative, someone who clearly takes good care of his property and his guests. Wonderful!

DO NOT BOOK. This property was an absolute nightmare due to total deception regarding ongoing construction, terrible property conditions, and zero privacy, directly violating Vrbo’s booking guarantee.The host failed to disclose that the home was an active construction site. For all 3 days of my stay, heavy construction was so intense that the vibrations were literally rattling pictures off the walls. At 7:00 AM, the host knocked on my door to demand I move my truck so a porta-potty could be delivered for the workers. He then placed the porta-potty so close to my designated parking spot that the door physically hit my 75,000 truck when opened. Workers were also mixing concrete and spraying paint directly next to my vehicle.The interior of the house stunk to high heaven. It smelled like a foul, musty old linen closet so bad it made you want to gag. The only way to tolerate it was to keep every single window wide open. On top of that, there was zero privacy. The layout forced me to bypass the host to leave, and the host was constantly trying to engage with me when I just wanted to be left alone.While the host did refund the stay, the severe deception regarding the undisclosed construction and the foul state of the home completely ruined the trip. Vrbo support should flag this host immediately. Avoid this property at all costs.

Amazing location

This little guest house was amazing. Perfect for a walk to the beach or shopping/dinning. They owner provides everything you would need to go to the beach. Cooler, wagon, boogies boards sand castle items and more! Highly recommend! We will be back!
