With sunny interior spaces, unique architectural features, cozy bedrooms and large, private backyard, you won't want to leave Terramar! Spend your days relaxing at the beach, or by taking a quick day trip to San Diego. In the evenings, take a short walk to the beach to watch the sun set over the ocean or enjoy a backyard BBQ with a fire pit and test your skill at cornhole!

Terramar is a three bedroom, two bathroom home in beautiful Carlsbad, California. The home does have AC!

The Living Room:

Terramar is on a quiet residential street and the 5 freeway is less that 2 minutes away for easy access to anywhere in the area. The beach is 2 blocks away and is an easy walk from the house.

The area is best accessed by private car but ridesharing services are active in the area if you'd prefer to come without a car.

There are train tracks about a block away from the home. Guests will hear the train during their stay. This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals. Quiet hours outdoors start at 9PM. No parties are allowed. No smoking or vaping on the property. Pets permitted with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 (two dogs max, no cats).

Gorgeous beach property

This hacienda is beautiful, and has lots of amenities. there is a complete set of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and pots and pans to cook a family meal. Our hosts even left K cup coffee pods, as well as laundry soap for us to use. There are beach chairs, beach, towels and a cornhole game for us to use. The home is very lovely inside and is spacious for a family. The beach is just 3 blocks around the corner.We were able to look over the fence and see a blue heron nesting in the shrubs in the nearby lagoon. However, we stayed in late May, and there were a lot of mosquitoes at night. We should have purchased some wood to use the fire pit in the backyard which would have helped with the bugs. Shopping is not far in either direction. There are many amenities close by.

Clean, Cute Hacienda House

This hacienda-style house was so cute and colorful with original Mexican tile throughout. Very clean and well-stocked with all needed appliances for cooking meals. The fully-fenced grass yard with a doggie-door off the Kitchen was perfect for our small dog. Property managers were very responsive to any questions or concerns. Would definitely rent this property again. Excellent location in quiet neighborhood.

Was very clean, felt home like with its southwest Spanish style decor. Very quiet neighborhood. There is a passenger train that runs by every so often beyond the backyard, but only seems to run until early evening, was no bother. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were absolutely thrilled with the house and the amenities. Everything was very organized, clean and very dog friendlly inside and out. Our dog especially loved the back yard. The train was very close, but it didn’t bother us at all and it didn’t run after 10 PM.. Our only gripe was that the outside garbage was full when we arrived. We will definitely consider staying there again. Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood and very comfortable..

It is so welcoming, and it says so; there is a ceramic plate that states, "Mi casa es su casa." The hacienda decoration and the patio make this home adorable. Furthermore, it is located in a quiet neighborhood, it is very clean, very spacious, and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is definitely a place we will go back to.

Relaxing getaway

We stayed here while our home was undergoing construction, and it was such a relaxing experience! The layout is great, and our dogs LOVED the backyard, which was perfect for running around! Everything was beautifully clean and furniture/decor style is reasonably pet-proof so we didn’t have to stress about anything getting knocked over or broken by rambunctious pups. We also loved the short walk to the bluffs, which we did daily to soak in the ocean views. It’s a super friendly, relaxed community, and the neighbors would always say hello when we walked by with the doggies! Great place in a great neighborhood. Our stay here was a glimmer of positivity during an otherwise stressful week for us. Thank you!

Glad we stayed!

The rental is comfortable, clean and an easy walk to the water for some wonderful ocean views. It's in a quiet neighborhood but yes, you do hear the trains. We used a white noise app on my phone at night and during the day we felt it a pleasant sound. We loved using the fire place in the cool of the morning. The management was quick to respond to any concerns. We would happily rent this location again.

Senior "Girls" get-away

This is an exceptional home. The owners listed everything to make it so much easier for everyone. It was spotless, filled with necessary amenities (shampoos, lotions, paper products) and so much more. The neighborhood was one block from the ocean and very close to the Village Center. The beds were so very comfortable. There wasn't a single thing not to our satisfaction. It was like walking into a brand new house that was designed by a professional designer. Again, this is an exceptional home and we would highly recommend it to any age group.

Great Location

The house in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and walking trails. It is well kept, clean and has plenty of ocean air breeze as it's close to the beach. If you like to cook there are plenty of supplies. The yard is nice for outdoor meals. Easy and prompt communication with the rental property. It's a short drive to the village, outlet malls etc unless you like long walks.

Perfect for what we needed

Experience was great. We needed something close to Pendleton and Carlsbad Blvd for a friend’s retirement ceremonies. This fit the bill. Walking to the beach was a big bonus. Only reason for minus one star on the “location/neighborhood” category, was the neighborhood was filled with copious parked cars along the roads, including encroaching the driveway to the property, one of which was a behemoth RV that obscured the entire view from the front porch. Comfortable and Relaxing House for Family Vacation

My family really enjoyed staying in this home. There was plenty of room for my family of 6. My children are all over the age of 12 so having enough space for them to sleep comfortably is really important. This house had plenty of bed space as well as more than enough living room, dining room and kitchen space for our family. We also enjoyed the backyard. We were able to eat outside on the patio, grill and enjoy a fire in the evenings. The beach access was about a 15 minute walk but we were also able to pack up our vehicle and drive to the beach within a few minutes. Another advantage to this property is the ease of parking in the driveway and the garage. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a comfortable home within close proximity to the beach.
