This Motel6 is all about the location. It’s quarter mile to the beach. It’s quarter mile to the train station. It’s quarter mile to shopping center. It’s cheap. The internet is slow, the pool is not heated, and some of the tenants look like they’re permanent residents (maybe the city is housing the homeless here). The rooms are not cleaned unless you ask for it. I was a single traveler.

Even though the rooms are just average at best, you have many options for restaurants, grocery shopping, and close proximity to the beach. It’s quite safe around there, but you do hear some of the freeway traffic. Overall though, I’d recommend this place if you need a comfy bed and good options for food.

Needs remodeling

Though the location is great, the hotel is run down and in need of remodeling. We killed a couple of roaches in the bathroom. The food vending machine is extremely expensive! An individual pizza for $10.99 is outrageous!! Needless to say we just went down the street to Ralph’s an purchased food.

Nice location for the motel 6 near shopping centers, grocery store, and the beach. AC did not work and it was very warm in the room. Tried to turn it on and it only felt hotter in there. We asked for extra bath towels and they only had 1 more to give. The place did not feel safe mainly because of what appeared to be regulars there eyeing your car and luggage. Considering the price, not worth it.

we found a dead roach smashed on the wall. our upper lock to the door didn’t work it’s like the door wasn’t leveled . big safety concern. sheets and bedding was stained when we asked for towels we wer told they didn’t have face towels so she gave us two body towels and two towels that go on the floor when you step out the shower… i took pictures of thee entire room and we left it how we found it.
