The room was clean,really tiny ,But it was a very quiet place if that's what your looking for ..Then that's for you. I was wanted to rent a room, So I could sit in a tub and soak. But just like my luck no bath tub. And I also thought it was in San Diego . When I rented it. and I payed for it right off the bat with out reading . There conditions So I had to drive that far just to take a bath .And when I got there ,Guess What??? No bathrooms in the whole place. So I drove a hour to do that and was disappointed when I got there. But it was a good place for the price. What stood out was how peaceful it to was

Got the queen bed room- price and location good other than that HORRIBLE! So tiny, old not clean. You get two thin stain towels, one hand towel and one washcloth. Stains on sheets pillow case. Toilet runs all night, not sound proof, you can hear everything. They are doing a new roof, no mention of that. Asked front desk for towels and was told maybe to now when cleaning comes in. I would not and do not recommend.

Great location. Basic amenities but fairly priced and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Stayed twice at Scandia and I will comeback. If you prioritize location over fanciness this place is for you.

We booked this knowing full and well it was a small Motel property. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are small but very clean and come with everything you'll need for a weekend stay. 5min walk from beach and just down thebstreet from Downtown Carlsbad/Carlsbad Village. I will definitely be coming back and booking with them again. Thank you for the stay. You made our trip wonderful.

Great Escape!

The room was clean and spacious. The channel selection was amazing! I watched a few good movies. Everything in the room was nice and clean. Nice, peaceful and quiet.

The location was amazing. Only a few minutes walk to beautiful beach in Carlsbad. Quick check in and plenty of parking . The rooms were clean and good size. The most affordable hotel in Carlsbad with one of the best locations
